Dr. Bernard Michael Feldman, MD

The only word I can say about Dr. Feldman is that he is "A FANTASTIC DOCTOR". I first went to him in Santa Ana back in 1984, where he delivered both my daughters at Western Medical Center and that was almost 29 years ago. I would never think of going to another doctor. He made me feel safe and I knew that he was there if something happened at birth. I ended up having emergency C-section because of complications. He has been there thru the years for me. After he moved his office to Newport Beach, I continued seeing him every year. It was a very sad day when he announced retirement. I will miss him a lot.

He is always very nice, helpful and very professional

I went to Dr. Feldman to get a second opinion. He saved me from having a very invasive and painful surgery. In my book, he's the tops. I've been with him for 10 years.

I've read the posted comments that say Dr. Feldman is dry which has never been my experience at all and I have been seeing him for over 20 years. He found a lump in my breast that I had not felt and had me consulting with a breast surgeon in her office within hours. And this is a very busy breast surgeon! He also took my depression seriously when I first began seeing him (unlike another ob/gyn who actually said he did not believe in head meds!) I've worked in medicine for many years and have seen both sides of the doctor-patient relationship. Dr. Feldman is as good as they come!

Dr. Feldman was on call for my medical group when I arrived in emergency at Hoag. I was dying and he saved my life. A year & a half later I had my son and Dr. Feldman was out of town for my delivery. At my 6 week check-up he found a serious problem and had me in surgery the next morning. I would have died if he was not through at the check up. I have since had surgery again and would not consider anyone else. He is the BEST.

I have a strange fear of going to gynecologists... I get so nervous that I feel like I am going to pass out. I literally shake from anxiety during my exams! Dr. Feldman was the first doctor that has ever made me feel comfortable. He was amazing. He and his staff made it a breeze! I highly recommend him to anyone like me. For the first time in my life I don't dread my yearly visits... I can't say enough about his warm and kind manner.

Dr Feldman is a good dr he is definitely dry but gets his point across clearly. His staff is nice but doesn't always know what is going on and doesn't send appropriate paper work home which could of been a big problem if there was an issue.Dr Feldman delivered my second child via c-section and everything went smoothly, babies healthy and my scar was low and small and healed with no problems.Overall he worked for me I'm a busy mom and they get you in and out but I would recommend a more personable dr for first time moms

Excellent doctor with a great bedside manner. He took the time to explain things and our entire experience has been amazing!

I never received a phone call after my blood work or ultrasounds. My prescriptions did not include proper directions so I had to wait for the pharmacy to call them and correct it. My bloodwork paperwork was not properly prepared so I had to postpone an important ultrasound. Horrible! I had to switch during my 2nd trimester.

Wanted to deliver at Hoag Hospital as its reputation for having top notch nurses and facilities is impressive. This doctor rushes through appointments, doesn't pay attention and is extremely condescending. He has been practicing for a long time and makes it clear that this is old hat and you are nothing special. I DO NOT recommend this doctor to first time mommies or anyone who wants to get a hold of a nurse or doctor in a timely manner to even get test results back. Not a great experience.
