Dr. Bernard Michael Feldman, DO

Since I first saw a nurse practitioner who suggested an endoscopy, the first time I met him was when he performed the procedure. I expected a brief introduction, followed by the procedure, but instead he started grilling me on how often I get heartburn. I strongly suspect he was using the conversation to determine when I was fully sedated. Following the procedure, he stopped by briefly after I had woken up to give me the results, and despite the results being mostly normal, I was not scheduled for a follow up to work towards determining why I've suffered from heartburn nearly all of my life, but rather told that I'll have to be on medication the rest of my life (I'm in my 20's). Considering that I spoke to him for less than 20 minutes total (I'm being generous there because I don't think it was even that long), I think that's a very brazen assessment to pass down. Doctors like Dr. Feldman make me never want to go to a doctor again.

I love Dr Feldman! He changed my life! I went to see him because I had a total lack of energy, didn't have an appetite, got queasy with the smell of food, was nauseous daily, and had diarrhea daily resulting in weight loss of over 20 pounds within two months. To shower and wash my hair alone wore me out for the entire day! I was afraid I had some sort of digestive system cancer. I was so impressed that after Dr Feldman examined me, I was escorted to his desk where he further interviewed me regarding my entire diet. I have never had a physician take that type of time to learn and actually talk with me. I had been living a very stressful life plus several years of avoiding specific high fiber foods due to gas. Dr Feldman said, "you don't eat any fiber..." and lived a high anxiety lifestyle. Dr Feldman gave me a chart of high fiber foods, directed me to exercise daily to stimulate my appetite, and scheduled my first colonoscopy. The test results were normal that time. Within a… few months I gained my weight back and had the energy to raise my children and go back to work full time. I'll always be grateful for Dr Feldman's kindness and attention to finding my problem. I feel like he not only saved my life but gave my children their mother back.

I would not recommend this dr. has no bedside matter and whenin pain refused to see me always said go to the ER
