Dr. Bernard Lenchitz, MD

He's rude, arrogant, and has a terrible bedside manner. I was previously diagnosed with a hormonal disorder by another doctor in Illinois. I then had to move to Cincinnati for work and chose him because he was located in the downtown area. During my first appointment with him, he told me that female hormonal disorders "are not real." He did not ask to look at any of the prior test results that I brought with me, which confirmed my diagnosis. He would not prescribe any of the medications my Illinois doctor had listed. He really pushed that I take a weight loss medication called Adipex (this was not why I scheduled my appointment) and recommended that I visit his buddy across state lines in Kentucky to get around Ohio's 3-month limitation on Adipex. So in total, he recommended that I take Adipex from him for 3 months and then go to his friend in Kentucky for the remaining 9 months. It sounded very suspicious to me. I told him that it sounded suspicious, especially since there seemed to… be a reason that Ohio had put a limitation on how long you could use the drug. He insisted that he did this with all his patients and "even his wife [did] this." I stayed with his office a few more months but realized I was wasting my time not getting medication or treatment for my hormonal disorder. I later saw an endocrinologist who confirmed my diagnosis was correct, received treatment, and felt immediately better. The endocrinologist informed me that Dr. Lenchitz was absolutely wrong. I feel sorry for other women who may come to his office seeking help, but will be told their illness isn't real. If you are a female, seek treatment elsewhere.

Dr.Bernard Lenchitz listens to his patients and provide the most outstanding care. I'm glad to have him as my doctor.

I love dr lenchitz. Not everyone will, want a GREAT doctor, Bernard Lenchitz is a straight forward health care provider. He will give you his best, it is up to the individual to follow his advice...
