Dr. Bernard Josef Lichtenstein, MD

He does spend a lot of time with patients so he tends to run behind time wise. I have found that if I schedule as the first patient of the day or the first patient after lunch my wait is much less. Dr. L is kind, compassionate and is an amazing clinician.

Grossly incompetent and indifferent. Made it very clear that he didn't care about what was wrong with me and was not particularly interested in treating me. Did not accurately record the reason for my visit , did not take a complete medical history, did not listen to what I had to say, did not examine me, did not even listen to my heart or lungs. Spent the entire visit trying to push unnecessary medications on me. My first visit was also my last visit. Stay away from this quack if you value your health.

Diagnosis seems convincing but want to see if resulting treatment is beneficial.

Took an incomplete medical history. I have high cholesterol & diabetes and need to have levels checked every 6 months. This so-called doctor didn't do that. I complained of rash I had for over a month. He sort of glanced at it and moved on. He refused to refer me to a podiatrist even after I explained that the orthotics I've had for over 9 years don't do the job any more. When doctors see the scars on my knees the first thing they ask is how long ago I had my knees replaced. This guy didn't ask and couldn't have cared less. He spent the entire time I was with him trying to find ways to push pills on me (Elvis would have loved him). He is a complete quack and I fear for the level of care his patients, many of whom are elderly, are getting.

Dr Lichtenstein has been my physician for 15 years. He is willing and able to help you, and has all necessary tools for that purpose

Waited over 1 hour for visit that lasted 15 minutes. He didn't listen or give any answers to health questions. Office too backed up and didn't receive decent appointment. Uncaring. He seemed to know what I was trying to explain but didn't care to give me any info to deal with serious health issues - heart attack. Left with no idea what to do.

I found that Dr. Lichtenstein was very caring and informative. He took his time and listened to me and I really liked that about him. But what impressed me is how much this doctor knows about medicine. He actually found a heart murmur that I knew about when I was 14 but since then no other doctor had detected. He also got me on the RIGHT medication.

My first visit to the doctor i had an appt at 9:30am and was not seen until 11:30am. After I was seen, I had a follow up visit a week later to get some test results from my previous doctor. When I arrived my test were not there and I was asked to sign another record release form again, and her receptionist had no idea what happened to the first one. A couple days later I called b/c I was going thru some anxiety and needed to see him urgently and he was not available to see me until a week or so even after i advised him of my situation. He took my call on his cell phone a couple times but then hung up and never returned my calls. Very poor service
