Dr. Bernard Kent Maupin, MD

Dr, Maupin is very accommodating and patient. He takes the time to listen, diagnose, and explain his finding. He orders the proper procedures. I’m glad he is my doctor.

He's a great Doctor, he listened to me about my pain. We currently getting a shoulder doctor. I feel results are being made. Great sense of humor. Lol. I recommend him.

I arrived about 15 minutes early, after checking in I sat down for about 2 minutes when they called me back. Dr Maupin. Came in discussed my issues, put injections in both thumbs and I was in my car within 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. It wasn’t a rushed visit just direct and to the point. Very pleased with my care.

I’ve been his patient for a couple of years. He is skilled and knows what he doing. Fast and efficient. I called on Tuesday and he saw me on Friday. I call when the pain my hand gets so I can’t stand it and they get me right in.

I was extremely disappointed in every aspect of my visit, most especially with Dr Maupin who was rude and had ZERO bedside manners, or even manners at all! He never even said “Hi” or even introduced himself. He never said anything about what he saw on my x-ray, until I asked what he saw and even then he was very vague. Also the wait times were excessively long. I was at the office for 2.5 hours and only with an employee for maybe 10 minutes combined, even with having my x-ray done.

Saw him in 2016, had no problems until about a month ago. Went back and he treated me yesterday. Will follow up in 6 weeks! Careful, explained what is wrong and is treating it conservatively.

Absolutely no manners! When he walked in, he didn’t say hello to my daughter, the patient, my husband or myself. He seemed very irritated that we were taking up his time and stated that he didn’t want to get behind, which he already was. He barely looked at her injury, complained about reading notes from another surgeon, typed a quick referral for PT so they could make a splint for her finger and was gone.

For a follow up on my broken finger, i drove an hour and 15 minutes, and paid a co-pay for the dr. to look at my finger (no xray...literally just looked at it), declare that i did not need an xray, and sent me on my way. I think he spent about 10 seconds in my exam room. Infuriating.

Not very personable. Not good with kids. Made us take off the splint and tape. Seemed annoyed when it took us a few minutes.
