Dr. Bernard Aron Michlin, MD

Dr. michelin and his staff make me feel comfortable and confident that whatever I bring to them has a solution. Very patient and understanding. From his Nurse practitioners to his front desk, good quality people. Ive been there for almost 4 years and I'm very grateful for their help and direction Mitchell S.

We saw Dr Michlin over a 3 month period of time and nothing was resolved. My husband continues to have pain in his arm and shoulder and the Dr insisted it was coming from his neck.. Dr Michlin never examined my husband or listened to what we had to say. He stated he was an expert on this because he broke his neck and he had pain in his shoulder and arm. My husband had xrays and CT scan on his neck as requested. I had to call for results of his CT scan after waiting 2 weeks when they didn't call and had to make an appointment only to be told by his assistant that he needed surgery on his neck. They didn't explain why and said to see the surgeon and they would explain. We saw the surgeon and he said he didn't think he needed surgery and needed further xrays on his shoulder He said it was probably a torn rotator cuff that was causing my husbands pain. Dr Michlin refused to even listen to the surgeon and insisted that the pain my husband had was coming from his neck. I had to insist… that we go forward and order xrays/CT scan on my husbands shoulder. He agreed but against his better judgement. He said he would have his staff set up the appointment and let us know. I called after waiting 2 weeks and the office girl said there were no orders or documentation stating a CT scan was to be done. I asked to speak to the Dr and he was out of town and not to return until Monday this was Wed. He obviously wasn't going to follow up on what the surgeon suggested because he was the expert!! He needs to realize that he can't diagnose patients on what he has experienced, and start listening to his patients. My husband pain is severe effecting his sleep and daily living. I have asked for my husbands records and we are changing Drs today. If I hadn't worked in the medical field for over 40 yrs who knows what could have happened.

Not sure if the diagnosis is accurate as they screwed up the second, confirming test which I had to pay for anyway. Office seems to always be confused about charges. I liked the doctor and they diagnosed me with something every doctor in the past missed, but I am a little skeptic if I really have this and why.

I noticed Dr. Michlin skills over the years when I took my younger brother (a schizophrenic) to him. He always treated my brother with respect and care, and looked at ALL of his problems, not just the obvious one. Also, he was accessible when we needed him. I am also in the healthcare industry and I am very impressed by his wealth of knowledge.When I had a serious medical issue, I immediately thought, I am going to use his services too. When I see Dr. Michlin, I feel all of my worries are heard and addressed, a rare experience in other doctor's offices. I can highly recommend Dr. Michlin's services.

I would highly recommend Dr. Michlin. My mother has a complicated medical history. He is always willing to go the extra mile to provide the best care for my mother. The staff is very pleasant and helpful, especially the receptionist. Sometimes patients can be self-centered and his staff always responds with a caring professionalism.

I have found most doctors are not as congenial as they were when I was growing up, but Dr. Michlin & his staff have treated me with patience and respect over the past couple of years so no real complaints. His receptionist is very congenial and has worked well with me when scheduling/canceling appointments, she processes faxes from my mail-order pharmacy quickly and has even gotten a few appointments for me the same day I called with a problem. Dr. Michlin can seem a bit "rough around the edges", but since getting to know him, I have to say he takes the time to listen to me and then explain the treatment he's about to embark on. Overall, I like Dr. Michlin and his staff, they are a bit different than most doctor's offices I've been to in the past decade, but each doctor has their own way of conducting business.

Dr. Michlin and his receptionist were rude. The lady at the front desk was nasty, I had a scheduled appointment and when I arrived she told me "SHE" had no appointment scheduled for me. I waited for OVER an hour with no explanation or concern for my time. Dr. Michlin spent most of my appointment on the phone with what appeared to be peronal business.I will not return
