I've had Lyme for 20 years and only in 2008 did I have a positive test and a diagnosis.  Over the years I have been through more than 50 doctors of many specialties and none of them has helped me. The pharmaceutical industry is interested in producing and logically selling a vaccine for this horrible disease. Watch the documentary "Under Our Skin" Only those who have Lyme know the importance of medical terms like Dr. Raxlen. Unfortunately the other doctors do not study, do not update themselves and follow a protocol that protects health insurers and the pharmaceutical industry. It's a shame for someone who does not have Lyme to stand in the way that Jann Bellamy stands to promote himself. She is not a doctor, she has not studied the disease, she does not participate in the community that has Lyme, she does not know anything. Lyme is a… pandemic !!! It has all over the world and is being ignored because if it is really taken seriously they will have to take action and the health insurers and governments will have to spend a lot of money. I am Brazilian and I travel to the U.S. every three months only to consult with this excellent doctor who dedicated his life to studying this disease. Already had more than 8000 patients and most had impressive improvements. Enough of ignorance and follow up with Lyme disease!

Thanks to Dr. RAXLEN for managing my sons’ Lyme cases so they can realize their full potential. The difference in my younger son’s energy level and ability to concentrate in school is profound. My older son’s case is a bit more complex but Dr RAXLEN is actively listening and adapting the treatment plan. We are not through it yet but his neurological symptoms are much improved! We felt alone before seeing Dr RAXLEN. Don’t know what we would do without him and his staff.

Dr. Raxlen is the most incredible doctor i have ever encountered. He listens to his patients and treats them with respect and kindness. The protocol that he has recommended for my Lyme is the only one that has helped. He is amazing and i wish there were more doctors like Dr. Raxlen in the world.

After having Lyme disease and co-infections for six years and being misdiagnosed in my home state, I was referred to Dr. Raxlen in the nick of time. I was so sick that I couldn't move, much less walk. He saved my life. For those who don't believe that late stage borreliia and co-infections exist, I can only say that I hope experience doesn't teach you differently. When people talk about the expense - yes, it is expensive. They don't refer to the seventeen emails that he responds to at no charge, the phone calls he returns at no charge, or the hour + long conversation he will have with another physician of yours that he does at no charge. I can't find a physician here that cares enough about getting me well to do that. He is board certified in neurology and psychiatry and board eligible in allergy and immunology. As a healthcare practitioner, I have the utmost faith in him. I have yet to see a physician here who takes the interest in a patient that Dr. Raxlen does.

I was finally correctly diagnosed by Dr.Raxlen after several years of suffering and rejection by doctors/specialists in my area outside of NYC. Dr. Raxlen was the only doctor who helped me and continues to help me. I recommend Dr. Raxlen to everyone who wants a doctor who really cares about you.

Under the guise of being a great listener you will be taken to the cleaners. Expensive supplements will be recommended. If you put the" raxlen " code in you will get a "discount." Obviously he gets a financial incentive to recommend these vitamins. ( 500 dollars a month we paid just for vitamins) When oral meds don't work he recommends an iv with even more lengthy treatment with astronomical uncovered costs. Never once did a physical exam. Treats thyroid without evidence of a thyroid issue. My family member deteriorated so much under his " care " and all he did was pump more meds into him. When he figured the well was dry and after our insistence to stop meds after a 40 lb weight loss only then did he stop the meds. Happy to be free of the madness of that office and him swindling us out of money and making my son have problems he didn't have before. Happy to say that my family member has put all the weight back on after cessation of meds. He's a dangerous doctor prescribing… serious meds to vulnerable people looking for answers many of whom most likely dont even had Lyme. Several other infectious disease doctors agreed that he never had Lyme. His wife runs the business end and is extremely money hungry. If you decide to go for a visit you will see what I'm talking about.

Thank goodness for Dr.Raxlen! In the early 90's I became very ill with a severe fatigue and many other medical problems. I visited my own personal physician as well as several other top infectious disease docs in the Norwalk/Stamford and New Haven areas of CT. ALL of them denied that I could have Lyme as my tests were equivocal or negative. No one pursued my illness. I lost my career and home and was turned away by my family who would not help me. Through my own searching I found Dr.Raxlen and HE INVESTIGATED MY COMPLAINTS...TESTED ME...AND I DID TEST POSITIVE FOR LYME AND OTHER TICK BORN INFECTIONS ! Through Dr.Raxlen's care and treatment and monitoring I gradually became well enough to continue with my life. Thank you Dr. Raxlen.
