Dr. Bernard Joseph Rose, MD

I am a patient of Dr. Rose for over 4 years. I am very impressed with him and trust him completely. He excelled in all these areas: Diagnostics, manners, kind and warm staff, and any needs you may have. He is highly intelligent and cares about you. I would recommend him for all ages.

am honestly baffled by my experience with this dr. I went for a couple of reasons- one being that I needed to find a new primary care physician. I have a rheumatoid arthritis, autoimmune disease, which I’ve been seeing a rheumatologist for for almost 8 years. Upon learning that information Dr. Rose questioned my diagnosis asking if “I actually had joint pain”. Well the whole point of seeing a rheumatologist is to diagnose joint pain. Upon learning my RA is seronegative he suggested that he didn’t understand how a rheumatologist would diagnose me without being seropositive- despite the fact that I had overwhelming RA symptoms and a family history of it. He questioned why I was on “such aggressive medication” and if “they tried anything else prior to these” well of course they did. I’ve been trying medications for RA for 8 years. He had a bizarre interest in my RA history and gave me the impression he didn’t believe I had it. I wasn’t even there for anything joint related. One of the… issues I was there for- fainting spells, he also dismissed as no big deal. I understand that multiple different issues can cause this. But I needed to establish a family doctor in the event that it became an issue and I needed somewhere to go. He said to his nurse in the hallway that I “probably drank too much and was dehydrated that day and all I needed was Gatorade and salt”. Of course he didn’t say that to my face, though I’m surprised he didn’t due to his overwhelmingly rude behavior and inappropriate remarks regarding my RA. I will also mention that he complained to me about another patient who came in due to bad side effects from the covid vaccine. He said to me “yeah is this guy really dizzy from the vaccine or did he have too much to drink Saturday”. Absolutely unacceptable behavior from a physician. I will never go back to see this uncaring, rude, ridiculous excuse for a doctor.

But suffice it to say Dr. Bernard Rose is my husband's and mother's Dr. I took a friend to him slso and know others who go to him. I trust Dr. "B" 110% and highly recommend him. He is not only a good Dr. but has the best personality I have ever seen in a Dr. I am so grateful for the way he treats my mom.

Thorough, knowledgeable, funny

I moved from the eastern part of Ohio 11 years ago and for 3 of those years I would make the trip back to my home to see my family Doctor because I hesitant about changing practitioners then I met Dr. Bernard Rose, MD who for the past 8 years has been my family doctor. The staff and nurses are like family to me now I wouldn't trust my life with anyone else I found a superb doctor!

He wants to save us money by telling us I don't need a psychiatrist and go run 7 miles a day. When I need to talk to someone. He was insensitive. He refused to refer me to someone that could help. I said I have no sexual desire because of the meds. He said up the dose. It's just in your head. He was absolutely the most unprofessional doctor I have met. I will be sure to spread his recommendations to everyone.

The nurse spends more time getting vitals than the doctor spends talking and "examining" you. For any complaint you get an anti-depressant or an antibiotic. He never runs any tests either.

With most Doctors today looking to be Dr House vs Dr Weleby Dr Rose is a Godsend. There is never a wait at his office you are in on your appointment time and he the nurse is in the room within minutes. I have never had to wait at his office. He is nice listens and spenda whatever time you need. His Nurse Cindy was as nice as he was. If you can make Him your Doctor.
