Dr. Bernardo Assumpcao de Monaco, MD

Dr. Bernardo Assumpcao de Monaco is a neurosurgeon who specializes in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of conditions affecting the brain, spine, and nervous system. He treats a wide range of conditions, including back and neck pain, herniated discs, spinal stenosis, brain and spine tumors, nerve compression, and other neurological conditions. He also performs surgical procedures to treat complex spine and neurological conditions, including pediatric neurosurgical conditions.

Dr. Assumpcao de Monaco earned his medical degree from the University of São Paulo and completed his residency in Neurological Surgery. He completed fellowship training in Neurological Surgery at the University of Miami School of Medicine and Pediatric Neurosurgery fellowship training at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. He is affiliated with Camden Clark Medical Center and sees patients at the Center for Pain Management in Parkersburg, West Virginia.
