Dr. Bernardo Mendoza

I am writing for my dad. Dad went in for a diabetic foot infection, tests had already been run to check how far the infection was, we were just waiting for Dr. Mendoza to tell us what he thought was the next step. He finally comes in and says he wants to run tests...same tests that had already been done. We tell him this and he hadn't even checked my dad's file and says he now has to wait for the radiologist to give him their view on the findings. Next morning we show up to them telling us my dad is scheduled for surgery in couple of hours, no information given to us about the results. Surgery is done, he cuts off half of my dad's toe...and we NEVER hear or see Dr. Mendoza again!! He sends another surgeon to check two days later, they will pass on info to Dr. Mendoza of what they saw...and nothing. Another two days, same surgeon comes back and says he doesnt like what he sees, they may need to cut more. Three days later my dad had to have the rest of his toe amputated by a third… surgeon! And again...we NEVER heard back or saw Dr. Mendoza. Apparently he was too busy...too busy for his patient.

Put a port in in my chest he showed up an hour and a half after the schedule time for surgery and then said he needed more time finally surgery was complete within three weeks I started having problems with my port I contacted his office and they told me that we don't maintain our ports we only place and replace I had to have another doctor pull a clot out of my port less than two months after he put it in the doctor that fixed it told me that he placed the port incorrectly and the way he placed it caused it to clot and if she wouldn't have removed the clot immediately I surely would have died. if you value your life please stay away from this quack.
