I'm 69 years old. For about six months I noticed that I was getting kind of wobbly and would fall down often. For example if I was in the shower and closed my eyes I would start leaning and unless I opened my eyes and grabbed onto something I would fall down. This got worse and worse. I sought help and was referred to Dr. Meyer. It turned out that I had a severe stenosis in my neck. Dr. Meyer performed an operation in which he came in through my throat and installed two clip-like spacers to separate two of the vertebra. He took some bone from my hip and grafted into the area of repair. He also came in through the back of my neck, from the scar it looks like he did most of the work from there. It's been over a year now and ever since the operation I no longer start leaning and falling. Aside from the normal post-operative recuperation I have had absolutely zero pain and have not taken one pain med. I have full range of motion with my neck. Sometimes when I tuck my chin down I can feel… something inside but that's about the only thing I notice from the operation. Dr. Meyer has an excellent bedside manner. You can tell he enjoys his work in making people's lives better. The staff and nurses were great also. I never had any problems making follow-up appointments. Surgeons are like anyone else. There's good ones and then there are really good ones, and Dr. Meyer is really good at wat he does.

Dr. Meyer could not have been any more informative and concerned. He explained my medical issue well and patiently answered questions that my wife & I raised. I have full confidence in his prescribed course of action.

It can't be easy for Doctor or assistants dealing with a person in pain. Doctor was very caring and patient. Made sure the path going forward was understood.
