Dr. Bernice Pritchett, MD

Both my wife and I used to be patients of Dr Pritchett when we lived in Orlando for many years. I’d qualify her as a ‘serial dispatcher’ basically just dispatching you to various specialists for anything and everything. She was nice a couple of times but mostly was getting aggravated when I asked inquisitive questions about her diagnosis and my health, she always seemed defensive for some odd reason, almost like you had to just take what she was coming up with in 5 min and bounce… the last straw for me was when she said she didn’t remember that my wife was my wife after we’d been seeing her for many years because she ‘couldn’t see me with her’ since I assume am a black man and she is Latina? Lol In 2019!! Wild stuff. She’s just a bit angry and full of herself for some reason…. As for the staff they all bad and rude period.

Went to her several times, each time introduced herself like we had never met before, tried to sell me her friends meal replacement candy bars and told me my white cell count was so high I could have cancer, sent me straight to Quest to check to see if the number was correct or if the blood had sat too long. I was very nervous for days, the patient portal was down and I’m not exactly an expert at reading blood tests anyway, I called and left several messages with no reply whatsoever from her office, a week and a half later the patient portal said my numbers were within normal limits. I never ever heard back from her office and I would never go there again. I wonder if I had called to order those meal replacement bars if she would have called me back. I’m guessing I don’t have cancer but certainly never heard it from her or her staff. Ever

she managed my meds and didn't know what she was doing. Got angry when I disagreed with her. I/ve taken the same meds for years and she wanted to change them. I;m still on them under another doctor. she sent me out of her office with extremely high blood pressure and could care less. has a bad temper

Office Staff is negligent, the office wants you to use the online portal for almost everything then they don't follow up. Everything needs to change if they want to keep their patients. I Don't recommend

I am new to Florida. It is always hard to find a new doctor. Dr. Pritchett was amazing. She listened and was very warm and friendly. Which helps when you not sure if you picked a good one. I watched her online video and found her delightful. Upon meeting her I was not disappointed. She was warm, friendly and professional. I look forward a long relationship with her. It is hard in these day to find a good caring doctor. I think I hit it lucky this time. Thanks!

Dr. Pritchett and her staff are very caring and professional. Dr. Pritchett never rushes you out of the office and always takes the time to listen to you and a follow-up phone call is always made and appreciated. I highly recommend Dr. Pritchett.

Does not listen and deals with pain issues poorly
