I was very nervous about my hysterosalpingorgam that was performed last week. Dr. Heyligers and his kind staff immediately put me at ease. He made my experience as comfortable and anxiety free as possible. He told me what he was going to do each step of the way. Yesterday, he called me with my results and was patient as he answered all of my questions. (I had a lot.) I owe a huge thank you to Dr. Heyligers and his staff.

I had a hysterosalpingogram performed by Dr. Heyligers. I feel that he was not qualified to do the procedure. It was a traumatic experience. I was in the room for almost an hour and it should not take more than a half hour. I was in pain, uncomfortable, and traumatized for 2 weeks after the horrible experience. He could not find my cervix and said, "we may have to get a gyno in here if I can't find your cervix." He finally found it after 5 tries. He tried putting the dye up my area about 4-5 times. The results of the test were inconclusive. He told me it was because I was too tense. In reality, the problem was him not knowing what he was doing. I had the test performed again by a different doctor and he was wonderful and it was only painful and uncomfortable for about a minute or two. It was nothing like the previous experience. I strongly urge any woman going to get a hysterosalpingogram to NOT get it with Dr. Heyligers.
