Dr. Bertie Michael Bregman, MD

I love Dr Bregman and the staff at Westside Family Medicine. The office is clean and the staff and nurses are professional and kind. Would highly recommend.

I had an appointment here today. I was told that there was a $30 co-pay. I asked why there is a co-pay. I was told that I must pay every time I come. I was surprised because It was a follow-up from my annual physical. I said that I could have been told the results over the phone, and I would not have to pay. The receptionist summoned her boss. A guy came out and asked me what the problem was. No introduction. No, "I am so-and-so". He basically was the most rude and insincere doctor that I ever met. His name is Bertie Bregman.I asked him if he felt that it was worth it to argue over $30 and lose a patient. He couldn't have cared less. I definitely recommend that YOU find a place where they care about you...because sin;t that what medicine is about? Someone caring for you?

The doctor is fine. There are many doctors in the practice so scheduling is easy if one is not too particular. The staff at the 70th street office can be dismally unpleasant, very robotic. Those at the 110th office are better.

This office was extremely difficult to deal with. The receptionists were rude on more than one occasion. It took several messages to get a simple prescription faxed. I ended up switching physicians because of all the hassle.

Dr. Bregman's office and staff made for a pleasant/comfortable visit. Dr. Bregman was caring and thorough. Two office locations makes appointment-making convenient.

Doctor Bregman is friendly and made me feel at ease.
