Dr. Beth Lynn Cowan, MD

Dr Cowan is an excellent doctor and a wonderful human being! She is TRULY AMAZING, as well as the front desk staff were incredible on all 3 visits I made to her office. I love the fact that she billed me for one visit and can return within over 6 months to have a follow up or check it out again as part of the original payment. I highly recommend Dr. Cowan! Thank you for providing such convenient care!

She has been my OBGYN for about 4 years now. She is kind, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable. She has inserted 2 iuds in me ( first one was a 3 year iud, current iud is for 5 years ). Dr Cowan explained the procedure to me throughly, answered all of my questions, and made me feel as comfortable as possible throughout the procedure. Recently I was having awful stomach pains. I reached out to Dr. Cowan, explained my symptoms and she requested I immediately go to the hospital for tests. Long story short, I had a 8cm cyst on my ovary. She and a team of other doctors operated on me and removed the cyst. If it wasn’t for her truly listening to my concerns I don’t know what would have happened to me. I trust her with my life and I happily recommend her to anyone in need of an OBGYN. Additionally, the staff at her office are great!

This doctor was so gentle, kind and informative. We went to several doctors before choosing Dr. Cowan as our Ob. Our pregnancy was complicated and Dr. Cowan held our hands ever step of the way. We couldn't have asked for more and now we have a very healthy baby girl. We are very happy we chose Dr. Cowan.

Not only are the wait times to see her very long, you never know what your going to get when you see her. She is flighty and unpredictable. She yells at everyone. And she is very unprofessional. She has scared me on more than one occasion, causing me to switch doctors.

Dr.Cowan solved my fibroids problem unlike previous doctors. My past experience was being blown off for years before getting a fix that was so so. Dr. Cowan did what should have been done in the first place. It solved multiple things all of which I joyfully no longer have to put up with. Thank you thank you thank you.

I have seen her twice, she never has examined me and her reason was because I am 61 years old and I don't need any examinations but right after she heard that my mother was diagnosed with breath cancer she told me that she is 100% sure that I have cancer too and when I questioned her as how she can be so sure without even examination or ordering any tests, she said based on her experience she is very confident that I do have cancer and she wanted me to go see one of her dad's friend who is a doctor at the same hospital that she practice. She scared me so much that when I left her office I was crying so hard that I couldn't even walk. To make the long story short, right away I made an appointment at UCSF Breath Center and after going through so many tests they told me I am fine and they were just shocked as how a doctor can brutally scare her patient without doing any test before or even after the test. All I can say is that she is bad news and frankly not sure why they would allow her… to practice.

I had worst experience with this doctor, since my pregnancy she always scared me for one or the other reasons..She put me under lot of stress

Dr. Cowan is the best doctor I have ever had. She is thorough, takes time with you and you feel very well under her care. You also feel like family with her that's how caring she is!
