Dr. Beth Marie Houck, MD

I would have honestly given this individual a review of -10 if I could. I have never seen, much less paid to be seen by such an unprofessional, rude, uncaring, unsympathetic provider in my life. Not only did she not listen to me, she spoke over me in such a condecenting manner. Then to make matters worse when I refused to get examine (I was in so much pain, I have really bad periods, with intense cramps, which she knows about. I did not need to be poke and prodded, I paid to speak to her and consider options not be put through more pain) she proceeded to fling the door open then while in the hallway, infront of other patients and her receptionist practically screamed at me "this isn't Burger King, you can't have it your way" and stromed to her office like a 3yr old throwing a temper tantrum. Honestly cue the music because I felt like I was in the twilight zone. Her receptionist didn't even flinch, unlike myself and the other patients that witness this, letting me believe this is the… norm for this disturbed individual. I will never go back to that office, I believe that individual has unchecked mental issues and should retire from the practice.

Dr. Houck is by far one of the best doctor’s that I have ever had. Dr Houck listens to you and doesn’t talk above you. Everything is explained and no question is stupid. She puts you at ease. Going to a Gynecologist is never fun but Dr Houck puts you at ease. Her staff is also fantastic. You can tell that they all enjoy their jobs. Thank you Dr. Houck.

This by far was the BEST choice for me!! Dr.Houck and her staff were friendly and made me feel at ease. From the receptionist to the nurses it was an over all great experience.

Found a lump in my daughter's breast and said because of her young age, an ultrasound or mammogram wasn't required. Find a lump, do nothing. Really odd.

I am a VIRGIN and I did not want a examine, manipulated me into having one.

Horrible bed side manner

She might be knowledgeable, her patients are not.

She traumatized my daughter - my daughter did not want an exam, only a consultation for birth control. She examined her, ordered blood work & ultra sound, found nothing & told her to come back when she was sexually active..

I began seeing Dr. Houck after my long-time OB-GYN retired! It was so upsetting since that Dr. delivered both of my children, knew me and had taken care of me for over 20 years. I was quite nervous about seeing anyone else. A friend of mine raved about Dr. Houck, so I decided to give her a try. Any fears I had began to diminish the moment I walked into her oh-so-cozy waiting room! The front desk staff was friendly and professional and the nurse was caring and upbeat.Dr. Houck was warm and friendly and conducted a thorough interview with me prior to the exam. She talked to me gently and calmly, like an old friend, throughout the entire exam, which helped relax me during the exam! After I got dressed, I met Dr. Houck in her office where she summarized everything and gave me instructions. She was so funny, warm and friendly I almost forgot I was at a GYN appt! Dr. Houck is exactly the same almost 8 years later. She even remembers details about me, my family and my life. I love this Dr.… and her office and highly recommend them for their warmth, caring and professionalism!

Having gone to Dr. Houck twice, she seemed to be genuinely uninterested in my concerns. She was completely unsympathetic when discussing a potentially serious diagnosis with me. I have never left a doctor’s office feeling so ignored and disrespected. Truly a horrible experience.
