Dr. Beth Ann Logan, PhD

Words can not exspess the sadness and anger I have toward this sloppy excuse for a child psychologist. She went behind my husband and my back to plot with Maria Stamen ( teacher at Caravel Academy ) in 2015, to have my daughter thrown out of pre-k ( yes, pre-k) because my daughter was bored. She could read at 3 and do basic math. Teacher didn’t care about what I told her. Dr. Logan was in daily contact with her to evaluate my daughter’s behavior based on teachers opinion. We were forced to pay 1000.00 deduct for test. Test wS given in a room with 5 space heAters running. It was feb. and doctor Is from the southwest, so she was cold. No regard for child and after 15 minutes my daughter comes out sweating, crying and purple. Hypocritical oath says “” do no harm” guess she didn’t read that part. She used my daughters response against her when results were in. She also told me that all the problems I had with her birth were to blame. I Never Said that. My husband ( at the result reading)… stood up and basically called her a liar. She fabricated information to use for her benefit and Mrs. stamens benefit. Unfortunately for her, I made an appt at Johns Hopkins vet for talented youth. She was seen by a Sr. Child psychologist, and tested at age 4.5 at an IQ of 145. The psychologist and I spoke at length regarding Dr Logan’s ridiculous diagnosis less than a week previous. The psychologist told me my daughter “ will change the world “.and she said “the dr. Who said she’s autistic knows nothing and is a danger to gifted children” I guess that’s all I should need to hear. But, my daughter now , at almost nine , has that on her permanent record, she’ll be going to a new school in Florida for profoundly gifted children, and they will see her records from Nemours.. everyone who meets her is amazed at her intelligence. My daughter is Not Autustic but because of Dr Logan she will suffer Needlessly. If you live your child take them elsewhere. A bad doctor can ruin a future. God bless and good luck.
