Dr. Beth Hillary Minzter, MD

Dr Beth Mintzer is hands down the best and most thorough doctor I’ve ever been to. She stands out among all her piers because she is that good and that smart. I am now pain free because of this doctor and I can’t thank her enough. She gave me my life back.

Went there for chronic pelvic pain and endometriosis, been doing this since junior high and I am 28 years old. I have been to three different pain Management's only to be told there is nothing that can be done. I told her what has worked for me versus what has not worked for me in the past,she blatantly told me that there was nothing she could do and she feels that the pain medication I am taking is not going to help the pain that I am in and that it is mainly for surgical pain and surgerys.meanwhile she feels that is not necessary for me to have more surgeries because of scar tissue and adhesions which I am currently having issues with along with the endometriosis. She suggested that I go see a psychiatrist. I was very offended while I know that the brain and pain are connected she wanted me to see the psychiatrist to get a second opinion on getting more nerve blocks. I stated that I was not having any more nerve blocks that I have had over 10 and none of them have worked. She was… very cold-hearted and very rude, they gave me once again one more INSAID to try which is something similar to what I have taken in the past it could not do to it making me very dizzy. I have a sensitivity to a lot of medications. She also stated that they are an opioid free clinic and do not prescribe opioids which has helped me in the past with my flare days. She stated that she understands my pain and what I'm going through which was very offencive considering she did not help me at all. Cleveland is a big hospital in this should not have happened, to me because she's older she is obviously not up to date with all the possible things that could be done this day in age. A few years ago I was offered the pain pump in Cleveland. I have literally tried everything and anything to help my pain and nothing has stuck except for the opioids, I stated that I could function and work, she stated that the pain pump was not an option. And she would not refer me to anyone who would do it. I do not recommend this doctor for chronic pelvic pain. Very unsatisfied, I know some doctors are in it for the money and some are in it for the satisfaction of taking care of their patients. Maybe you can guess Wich one. if you have cancer pain or back pain she might be the one for you but if you are dealing with chronic pelvic pain I do not recommend at all. Good luck and hopefully she's not as cold!

Cruel, careless, discriminatory, and uneducated in some major ways. She pretty much told me that my disability isn't real (even though I have an official diagnosis) and argued with me when I said that I currently cannot work due to my disability and illness. She insisted I was wrong, refused to give me any medication (not even talking about narcotics, but relatively safe meds) because "you're only 18", and then suggested a pain rehab program for me that utilizes a form of "treatment" that the CDC has confirmed is extremely detrimental to people with my disease. If anyone is reading this, I beg you to not make an appointment with this woman. Especially if you are disabled and/or young.

Dr. Minzter is one of the most compassionate doctors I've run into in my 74 years. Pain Management was totally new to me and my sister. We learned so much from her and her colleague Dr. Victor Foorsov and left with new confidence and understanding that we could get through the difficulties of pain in the post operation period. I'm forever grateful to Dr. Minzter.
