This was the most generic doctor appointment I've ever had. I was referred to Dr. Staab because my current Neuro is leaving the practice...was told that she was good with "complex cases", which I am. She had zero interest in digging deeper for a diagnosis and instead "prescribed" diet and exercise (I am not overweight and fitness is compromised due to neurological issues)...something you would expect from a GP, not a specialist trying to help a person with neurological symptoms. It was unbelievable! Also said my exam looked good even though I had a strong hyperreflex response of lower leg...completely disregarded it. She would interrupt and talk over me..it was a complete waste of time. If you are looking for a doctor who is interested in working with you, hearing you and not dismissing your concerns...this is not the one.

I had been having grand mal seizures for about a year but it took awhile to get a diagnosis because of how expensive the EEG is. Nothing showed up on the MRI but during the EEG, I did have a seizure. And I was immediately diagnosed with a epilepsy disorder. I have been taking the generic form of keppra ever since and I am now 9 months seizure free. Beth was so amazing and helpful throughout this process and I really appreciate how much she was there for me and how much she continues to be there for me at my checkups.

Dr. Staab is fairly impersonal and not very empathetic. She acts as if you are an inconvenience to her and seems to inconvenience the patient in return. Very knowledgeable however. I trusted her medical opinions.

Not a fan. From the moment I stepped in to her office she talked about how she can give me meds for that. This was before even doing any type of exame or tests or spending more then a minute with me. I was not looking for meds I was looking for a diagnosis. After doing tests ( mri and nerve tests) I never receive results. It wasnt until I asked 3 weeks later that I got the response " oh you didnt get them?" Just not a fan.

Horrible doctor. I was seeing her for migraines for two years and then this week she decided she was annoyed with my calls and that she could not help me any longer. No diagnosis and very poor behavior for a doctor. Do not go see her, find a doctor that cares about patients.
