Dr. Beth Spangenberg Tarkington, MD

I have confidence in Dr. Tarkington. She pushes me hard to improve even when it's equally hard to make changes. She's the doctor that stopped and plainly stated I needed to address my hypertension and obesity. Lastly, I felt secure enough with her to acknowledge and actively begin to do something about my health issues.

Dr. Tarkington's is a first rate pysician. She really takes the time to listen. She is extremely thorough in her examination of you. She always follows through with treatment. I have found her knowledgable and up to date on the latest medical findings. Best of all she is caring and personal.The only downside of the practice is the difficulty in scheduling an appt. (They will work you in if it's urgent), and long wait times. However the wait is worth it.

I would highly recommend Dr. Tarkington. She is caring and sharp on diagnostics. I travel through two states to maintain her as my primary care physician. When my husband passed away, I received a wonderful handwritten note from her within three days of losing him.

The staff are not the best, but the Dr. is first rate. She really takes the time to listen to you and works hard to make you well. My family have been patients of hers for years. Waiting time has improved from what it used to be.
