Worst doctor. Ever.

The last two reviews mirror my experience exactly. My first and last $2500 visit (including testing) upset me so that I have not seen a physician since. She is either devoid of tact or is purposefully cruel. And for her it is only about money.

I'm only rating Dr. Beth Ungar a 1 star because it's mandatory that I click one. If i had the option she would get zero stars. I have never experienced a more unprofessional doctor in all my life. She has zero compassion for her patients and makes it perfectly clear that she only wants your money and couldn't care less about your health and safety. It's truly a shame that she even has her degree. She is rude and inconsiderate. Do yourself a favor and find another doctor in the DC area because anyone is better than she is. She also violated HIPPA when she discussed the personal medical history of a family member in the waiting room. She will be reported.

She was able to determine what the problem was (which my original internist did not) and followed up including calling me. She seems very caring, but she was right on target with figuring out a complicated problem and treating me.

uncaringl. impossible to reach on telephone in emergencies. when reached informed patient to get to a hospital. office staff peremptory and on verge of discourtesy.
