Dr. Bethany A Cataldi, DO

Dr. Bethany CatAldi BOTCHED my ear surgery, she claimed something was else wrong and my chief complaint was a hollowing in my ear, she insisted that my ear required a tube, she did the surgery and it it worked for a while, but after about 5 months there was ringing and buzzing in my ear, she CLAIMED my nerves were damaged, well how did that happen? She gave some lame excuse in which I NEVER believed. She put me on medication for ANXIETY for the ringing in my ear and the nerve supposedly, I went down to the university of Chicago and got tested and they have very high tech equipment, my test with them DID NOT SHOW any nerve damage and indicated that I was experiencing Tinnitus, I informed them that I had no problems with the ringing until Dr. Cataldi performed that second surgery on me. In my personal opinion I don’t believe she was in any condition to be scheduling and seeing patients because she had experienced some type of medical issue herself, so right now I knew I was right, they… were billing me for procedures that I NEVER RECEIVED, she would come into the room asking me about my sinuses and I would have to inform her that I was NOT being treated for sinuses, buy my ear so whose chart was she reading from or were those the FAKE NOTES that she established for my account to bill Medicare and BCBS. I DEFINITELY informed BCBS of the shady things that they were going on in that office, I NEVER felt any relief from her treatments,. What’s done in the DARK, will surely come to the light. She might as well change her Plea to GUILTY because DAMAGED my ear and then she billed me for a lot of stuff that I NEVER RECEIVED and I COMPLAINED to the front desk staff and health insurance companies!

Dr. Bethany Cataldi used her Highland practice to bilk $9 million from Medicare over nearly a decade for sinus procedures she never did. On Nov. 20 with three counts, including healthcare fraud. She has pleaded not guilty.

Although not the patient I was not impressed with her lack of explanation of the procedures and post-op expectations. She did not stay after the surgery to explain how it went. It seemed like it was an inconvenience to answer questions we had. Would never go to her.

I've been under her care for 1 year now and all she does is give you medicine. She doesn't keep track of what medicine she's given you in the past, and what has/hasn't work for you. She doesn't remember past visits so you find yourself feeling like a new patient every time. Not in the best interest of the patient- just another number under her books

I am not satisfied with the techniques used during my daughter's surgery. Way too much removal, which is causing other problems 3.5 years later. Bad results.

Very efficient Doctor with a kind bedside manor. Moved things right along for my husband and he can finally breathe through both nostrils. Dr. Cataldi is working on his sleep apnea and snoring and we have no doubt we will be pleased with the results.

Dr. Cataldi is a wonderful doctor. She performed a sinus surgery on me last month and after years of having had blocked sinuses and breathing I can breathe 100%. Her bedside manner is first rate and she and her staff made the whole process a success. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS POSTED ARE THE WORK OF TROLLS! When I heard that there were terrible things posted about Dr. Cataldi, I felt the need to post in her defense. Dr. Cataldi is an exceptional surgeon! My wife and children (as well as 2/3 of my block) have been treated by Dr. Cataldi for nearly a decade for a myriad of ENT problem- INCLUDING SINUS SURGERIES- with STELLAR results! Whether it's a "minor" issue or a serious condition, Dr. Cataldi has come through for all of us. Without question, she is an excellent surgeon whose skill, bedside manner, and overall dedication to her patients is unmatched in Northwest Indiana. The fact that she- NOT A NURSE- sees and treats EVERY patient in her practice is a testament to her dedication, and I would bet that 99% of her patients would agree with me. Don't patients go to see THE DOCTOR and not a nurse practitioner? As far as any accusations that she is greedy goes, give me a break!!!!!!! It seems that so many people who owe money to doctors'… offices conveniently pull out the "greedy doctor" card. I've personally sat in her waiting room for years and listened to her staff set up interest-free payment plans to patients who are going through financial difficulties. And Dr. Cataldi is as honest and forthcoming person as you'll ever meet- The character assassination stating/implying that her office fraudulently bills patients is indefensible. Sure, her office is busy, but as the last review indicated, her practice is busy for a reason- SHE'S AN EXCELLENT DOCTOR AND THAT'S WHY WE WILL CONTINUE TO SEEK HER CARE AND WHY I WILL DEFEND HER.

SHE IS A KIND AND CARNG PHYSICIAN WHO TREATED MY THROAT ISSUE THAT 3 OTHER DRS MISSED. SAW ANOTHER ENT GROUP - WAS TOLD BY 2 OF THEIR DR ON SEPARATE VISITS THAT " THEY DIDNT SEE ANYTHING TO CAUSE MY SYMPTOMS"- DR CATALDI SPENT TIME WITH ME AND DIDNT LET A NURSE EXAMINE ME LIKE IN OTHER OFFICES- CLEARLY THE BAD REVIEWS ARE FAKE - HER OFFICE IS KIND AND COMPASSIONATE . WITH A STAFF THAT IS SECOND TO NONE. I HAVE SENT FAMILY MEMBERS TO HER WITH SIMILAR POSITIVE RESULTS. SHE IS BUSY BECAUSE SHES GOOD-
