Dr. Bethany D Skinner, MD

I've been working with Dr Skinner for years. She is by far one of my favorite Doctors. Dr Skinner specializes in Botox injections for the pelvic sling which tremendously helps with pain management. Dr Skinner has also performed an endometriosis removal surgery and dramatically increased my quality of life. She has the best bedside manner and genuinely cares for her patients. I wish more doctors were like her.

Dr Skinner operated on me two years ago for massive fibroids. She respected my decision not to remove the uterus even though she disagreed with me (she was right, that's probably what we should have done as it took her forever to do the removals). I liked it that she offered the least invasive to most invasive options for me to consider. I can barely see the scars from her work. And have been symptom free since then. Highly recommend.

Dr. Skinner used minimally invasive surgery to remove two large fibroid tumors. Two years post surgery, I have such a small scar (about 3/4 inch wide) and couldn't be happier with the result. I was incredibly nervous about the whole procedure, and Dr. Skinner was so good to answer all my questions, help me determine the best approach to removing the fibroids, and address my concerns regarding quick recovery and scar treatment. She is extremely knowledgable.

I saw Dr. Skinner for endometrial and vulvar skin biopsies. She performed hysteroscopy that I was kind of nervous about it. She explained the procedure and made sure that I understood everything and felt comfortable about it. I found her very caring and competent in her abilities. She is an excellent doctor and I had very good experience under her care!

I had been putting off having a hysterectomy for more than 3 years even though I had significant pain and cramping from a large fibroid. After speaking with Dr. Skinner, I immediately felt comfortable with the process she described and was impressed with her ability to describe the procedure in layman's terms. I was not disappointed with any step in the surgical process. Dr. Skinner is very confident and upbeat which helped me feel calm going into the surgery. She then frequently checked in with how things were going afterwards. I would recommend anyone to go and at least meet with Dr. Skinner if contemplating any type of gynecological procedure or surgery!!

Dr. Bethany Skinner is the best surgeon around. She knows what she is dealing with and she practically saved my life. She took her time with me and explained the process and gave me all options available to me. She does surgeries very often and is successful. I had my surgery done by her on 10/17/13 and it was the best day of my life. She successfully removed 9 fibroids and I did not have any complications. Not only had that she came to visit me in the hospital twice. She was on her way out of town and she still stopped by and made sure I was ok. I am three weeks in recovery and still no complications, no infections, and feel great. I would recommend Dr. Bethany Skinner to anyone who needs the surgery. She is the best and I am so glad she was the surgeon for me!
