In my opinion to be a good doctor you need compassion. To be a specialist you need extra compassion. To be a pediatric specialist you need double extra compassion. You will not find that here. This doctor seems to have forgotten why she is in medicine - to help children. Parents are at a doctors office for help because their child needs care and when a doctor does not speak to you nicely it makes you feel bad. Children pick up on that vibe and I strongly suggest you read all the reviews about this doctor and many people agree her bedside manner needs improvement.

Stay away from her. Terrible in all ways. She should not be practicing.

She is insecure, incompetent, and rude. No bed side manners and completely unreliable. I believe this is not a private practice but managed by the hospital system one way or another. Total disregard for patients. Their attitude shows no respect for patients feeling and time. Very abusive atmosphere. Pls be aware, as a new patient, that you have alternatives and will eventually educate yourself and learn the ins and outs of endocrinology. She will be abusive and authoritative at first. Don't let her intimidate you... Ask her questions calmly and she will not answer you but dictate to you what you need. at that point, calmly nod your head, finish your initial care and than find another doctor. When she makes you feel bad and incompetent, just shrug it offNot worth your time. I feel sorry for those who think she is a good doctor. She is just an abusive person. I'm sure it is reflected in her personal life. Good luck and I implore you to find another doctor for your sake.

She is an animal. Insecure, I'll informed and disgusting bedside manner. Not too many pediatric endocronologists to choose from. Pick ur poison. She is a fool who will accuse ur children of lying to u. Be careful and diligent and find a doc that will work with educate u. If she seems angry during ur visit. Just run because she is confused. I implore u to find another doctor...for ur child's sake.

She has the worst bedside manner. You cannot ask a question, when you do she becomes defensive/argumentative. She does not show compassion to her patients. My son hated going to see her because of the way she interacts with him. She is knowledgeable however you will leave the appointment feeling like the you are the worst parent ever. She should not be practicing medicine.

She read from the wrong file, argued with me about it, never apologized, then proceeded to try and change my son's medication. See someone else, she's the worst.

Dr. Kopp and her staff are always available and concern for the well-being of my daughter. We feel very comfortable during the appointments (like family). My daughter looks foward for her appointments.

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Kopp for 5 years for Insulin dependent diabetes and celiac disease. Our little girl has suffered from these two serious conditions more than any child should have to. My wife and I count our blessings to have Dr. Kopp as her endocrinologist. Not only is she brilliant and delivers state of the art care, but she is loving and compassionate. As our daughter adapted to her illness, she actually started to look forward to her visits with Dr. Kopp. She is attentive to details, and excellent educator, and a great family support. She is a role model to young doctors starting out. She is a fabulous doctor with a big heart and we recommend her as a Pediatric Endocrinologist without hesitation. To protect our daughter's privacy we will remain anonymous.
