Dr. Betsy Sherry, MD

Wonderful doctor.

Dr. Sherry Is very nice and a good doctor. However she is ALWAYS late. Don’t go to this dr if you have a busy schedule. Every appointment I have I have to wait at least 40 minutes to an hour. No regard for other people’s time.

One of the worst experiences I've had and I didn't even get to talk to Dr. Sherry. I never write reviews but the processes implemented at her office are awful. I recently had a sleep study done at Mt Auburn. I had to call her office 10-15 times trying to get my results and to find out next steps. I was told by several individuals that they would follow up with Dr Sherry but never got a call back. I finally was able to schedule a follow up and was told my appointment was at 9:30. I showed up at 9:15 and they told me that I was late and they usually don't take patients who are 15 minutes late. Two weeks later, I finally got a call back in response to the 10-15 calls I had made. Nearly a month and a half after my sleep test, my results were posted to my mychart.com account. Clean it up.

After a TBI due to a car accident and a brain tumor that came of it, Doctor Sherry has been a compassionate neurologist. She has taken the time to help me through the most difficult moment of my life. Eternally grateful.

Dr. Sherry has always taken time to listen to me. She never makes me feel rushed and always shows interest in me.

Of the six or eight times I've seen her, she's always been at least a half hour late for the appointment, often more, and an hour late twice. There have been three tests. She lost the test results on two occasions (once between the waiting room and her office), and was mighty confused about the third result for a little while. Most recently, I had a test that takes about five minutes to analyze, once the data is available. I had to wait six weeks for an appointment to spend those five minutes, then wait until 3:30 for my 2:30 appointment, then she couldn't find the test results. Counting travel time, that's close to three hours out of my work day. And let's not even go into the the failed treatment attempts. I am profoundly grateful that I never encountered her in an urgent care situation. (I can't fault the office staff for her behavior - they seeom OK.)

She was terrific! She was personable, professional and did a great job! I would highly recommend her.
