Dr. Bettina Fries, MD

Was referred to her after testing positive for Lyme Disease. Her version of Lyme and the real version apparently differ substantially. Despite my having many symptoms, of which I had listed on paper and given her, she told me to my face that I did not have Lyme, that I was not sick, and that I only thought I was sick. Even my PCP felt strongly I had Lyme Disease, which is why he tested me and then referred me to this woman. Instead of her going about trying to find out what was making me so sick, she set her main concentration on denouncing my PCP for making me believe that I had a disease before obtaining "definitive proof." What more definitive proof do you need outside from a positive blood test? I have since learned of the controversy surrounding this disease, and how the CDC and the IDSA have colluded for over 40 years to cover-up the deadly seriousness of this disease, in part so they can make money and sell a Lyme vaccine. Unfortunately, very sick patients are stuck in… the middle with nowhere to turn and no one to treat them. Thankfully I was able to find a competent Lyme-literate doctor and I am on the path to healing.
