Thoroughly listens! Vast knowledge on so many medical issues …she has a great arsenal for solutions! I continue learning through her to apply what works for me personally. So refreshing to have a Doctor that treats me into wellness completely! Conventional medicine needs Dr Herbert’s treatment methods!

I recommend ozone therapy. It is my go to for old sports injuries. It really helps quickly with swelling & inflammation. Dr. Herbert is very knowledgeable & kind.

Dr Herbert really cares about her patients well being and is the most knowledgable doctor I’ve met. She spends a great deal of time with each patient to understand their issues and listens to what they have to say. Thats so rare these days. I’m so thankful to have her as my doctor!

In 2015, I had a wreck that resulted in a concussion. My first. The ensuing headaches were unpredictable and no headache med would relieve it. I happened to mention the concussion to Dr. Herbert. She said she could fix that if I wanted her to. YES! She somehow found the place in my head that needed released. I felt it when it happened. To this day, I’ve never had another concussive headache! Like magic! Thank you Dr. Herbert.

She talks to you, listens and respects you, she orders the right tests and treatments. We were lucky enough to finally find her after five years of searching for answers from other doctors that don’t care.

I've just recently visited with Dr. Herbert for my second consultation and am humbly grateful for finding her (which was done via an ILADS directory lookup). In short, I've been to The Mayo Clinic for allergies, The Cleveland Clinic's Digestive Disease Center & their Functional Medicine Department founded by Dr. Mark Hyman, and Vanderbilt's world renowned ENT/voice clinic and Digestive Disease Center. Now, in no way do I disregard any of the medical advice from the aforementioned clinics/providers; and I humbly respect them exponentially as they have shown extraordinary attention and genuine concern for what I'm experiencing! Truly, I'm eternally grateful for their wisdom and council. But having been told so frequently that my symptoms potentially stem from another and unknown related health condition, I decided to seek out a local functional medicine specialist to help put some of the pieces together in an attempt to understand 1) what it is that I actually have and 2) what forms… of treatment might be most advantageous in resuming a level of normal functionality. While I believe I may have a ways to go, I am uniquely impressed with her broad range of medical knowledge and understanding of bodily/medical complexities that, in the past and somewhat still currently, have perplexed "traditional" medical practices. Does, Dr. Herbert have all of the answers? I'm not sure... maybe yes or no. But, she certainly has unleashed an arsenal of plausible explanations, recommendations, & clinical treatments & tests by reputable research facilities that have historically shown high levels of success (some, not all, are typically covered by insurance), and most importantly: an honest outlook of what treatment will entail (financially, physically, and mentally). And even more importantly, Dr. Herbert is, simply put, a genuinely caring physician who has demonstrated, at least to me, that I'm not alone in this fight and that she's "all in" when it comes to the complex medical journey ahead. And she has routinely admonished not to give up (via email chats at 1:30am); and that there is still profound existential hope in gaining some, if not most or even "all", of the functions I used to effectuate during my former years. It's challenging for me to make it back and forth from Charlotte, NC to either Vanderbilt, The Mayo Clinic, or The Cleveland Clinic.
