The service received was terrible. The office staff, unprofessional and inappropriate. They don’t care about patients at all.

let's start with Dr. Jelen looks like she rolled off of her bed every time we see her that's 1. Does not stay on topic when discussing your health issues. Does not communicate with her own staff efficiently. Thank God i work in medical field or else my daughter would be screwed. They can't submit RX to pharmacy on time, they were supposed to have standing orders for my daughter with lab corp that didn't happen. Always having to call them to make sure things are a go for the appointment they say it is a go show up for the appointment and everything is wrong or missing. Staff needs retraining on how to treat patients and how to manage submitting their authorizations or records in a timely manner. the wait is always over an hour the last time was 4 hours. Avoid her at all costs unless its the only option with your insurance. will be discontinuing care with her permanently.

Dr. Jelen is the only doctor who has prescribed a natural hormone that helps my low thyroid condition, and I'm very thankful for it. Since I have been going to her practice, I have more energy and feel better. Dr. Jelen is a good listener who shows how much she cares for her patients.

After I received my lab work back from quest labs saying additional testing needed. I tried calling Dr jelen Her staff left me on for 35 min before being disconnected and 90 min before I hung up. Then told me the Dr wanted to speak with me call at 5:50 Pm to just get the answering service!!

I would NOT recommend this doctor's office to my worst enemy. For starters every time you go in to see the doctor you will be waiting well over an hour. Once seen, my appoint lasted over another hour.... not because Dr Jelen was asking me questions about my health or doing anything diagnostic.. it was because she was telling me about HER life and HER background. I could sit here and write a paragraph about her kids, her ex husband and what she lost in the divorce. Totally inappropriate and unprofessional. Next... this office is run like a farm. They submitted a request for me to have a disease diagnosed to the WRONG insurance company and for 2.5 months I was trying to figure out what happened and why I wasnt getting a result. They didn't return phone calls, would put me on hold for endless amounts of time and treated me with such disrespect. In the end I figured out the problem, told them to resubmit to the right insurance company and instead of doing it properly.. they sent in the… wrong codes... another mistake on their end and then referred me to another endocrinologist instead of fixing it themselves. You'd think a doctor's office would know how to submit a request and know which insurance company to send it to. Dr Jelen as a doctor was very unprofessional and their office was completely incompetent in what should have been a simple matter.

I was recommended to see Dr.Jelen by a friend. I had 12.6 HgA1C. It is very high. Dr.Jelen motivational speech paid off.In 3 months my HgA1C was down to 6.3. I followed her recommendations. I lost 20 pounds as well. She is a great doctor!

Dr. Jelen saved my life. I followed he advice and I lowered my blood sugar and feel really healthy now. 4 stars!

I am making this report on behalf of my sister. She was currently diagnosed with Lupus. Her insurance sent her to this office. My sister ( who is on disability and only 22 years old) had no cell phone activated, and was not able to make her appointment. Dr. Betty Jelen, was rude and told her that she should have called her but my sister explained her situation and she complained that she had to drive 25 miles just to see her in the morning, she went as far as saying that most endocronolist dont accept her plan and that she would call and personally tell them my sister was not insterest. Well, obviously with that attititude why would anyone be interested. Bad, Bad Dr!!!!!! DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT GO TO THIS DR. SHE IS RUDE.

I have had several Doctor's in the past, but Dr. Jelen has been the best one I have been to. She has helped me get my Diabetes under control. I would highly recommend her. She she is very knowledgeable and caring.
