Dr. Betty Jo Dulaney, MD

I had a good overall experience with Dr. Dulaney during my pregnancy and delivery of my second child. She was always kind and listened to me. The same goes for her assistant, Laura. However the rest of her office staff are very rude. I had to visit twice a week in the last few weeks of my pregnancy so I had many encounters with the staff at the front desk. The two women that sit there would often ignore me when I arrived to check in. It wasn’t until I would walk away To sit down that someone would greet me. One time the woman even called my phone while I was in the waiting room to see if I was coming for my appointment because she practically dismissed me when I had arrived and was trying to tell her my name to check in. I don’t know why it’s so hard for them to pretend to be friendly or at least smile. All I want is to be acknowledged and treated with respect by the receptionists. I will be looking for another doctor for this reason. -Ashley S.

She is so sweet and understanding! She took the time to listen to me, and to answer all of my questions. She listened to me when I told her I was in pain, not like other doctors that tend to downsize it. She is amazing, I highly recommend her!

I love her she became my doctor when I was pregnant and that’s almost 13 years ago... I wouldn’t trust anyone else

THE STAFF AT THIS OFFICE ARE TERRIBLE. THE 2 FRONT DESK LADIES ARE BEYOND RUDE AND ONLY THERE TO COLLECT A PAYCHECK. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I BEEN TREATED WITH SUCH DISRESPECT AND CARELESSNESS. DR. DULANEY IS WONDERFUL BUT HER STAFF WILL MAKE NOT WANT TO EVER GO BACK. BEWARE, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Dr.Dulaney is the best around .She helps find the issue and handles it .I had out patient surgery with her on Friday and everything went perfect .The Methodist Germantown location also made sure i was handled with proper care .

I have seen Dr. Dulaney for 10 years. She is an excellent physician with a wonderful bedside manner. I would (and do!) recommend her to anyone. Her staff at the front desk, however, is persistently unaccommodating and condescending, both over the phone and in person. You has a lovely office—please rethink those who you hire as they are always a negative first impression and unpleasant to deal with!

AWFUL BEDSIDE MANNER!!!! NOT THOROUGH AT ALL. THIS DOCTOR HAS NO CLUE!!!!!!

This doctor does not listen to her patients. Her bedside manner is the worst. Throughout my entire pregnancy(5 months) Dr. Dulaney never checked my cervix. The only thing she did check was my baby's heartbeat....needless to say I lost my baby at 5 months. Stay away from this doctor!!! She should be a veterinarian instead of an Obstetrician Gynecologist. Please do not use her!!!!!!!!

I was a patient of Dr. Dulaney's for about 2 years. I felt that Dr. Dulaney was fine. She wasn't super friendly, but I trusted her as a physician. Her staff, however, was never friendly or made me feel like a priority. Every time I called or went for an appointment I left feeling like I hadn't been treated very well by at least one person on her staff. The incident that led to me choosing a different doctor was on a whole other level. I was 6 weeks pregnant when I started cramping and bleeding a good bit (more than just spotting) so I called her office after hours and was told to call her after hours answering service. I told the woman why I was calling and that I thought I might be having a miscarriage(which sadly was exactly what was happening) and I had questions. She then asked if I had been to my first appt. I told her my appt. was scheduled for a few weeks later. She then told me that because I hadn't been to my appt. I wasn't technically a patient and that the service was for… patients. She was extremely rude and harsh and I was crying uncontrollably at this point. I told her that I had been seeing Dr. Dulaney for 2 years since I had my first child and she still told me that I wasn't a patient until I had been to my first appt for this baby, which still makes no sense to me. I was completely devastated and felt so helpless. Losing the pregnancy was such a heartbreaking thing and it was made that much worse by the harshness and insensitivity of that woman. I never did get her name, but I hope that this will save someone from having to deal with people like that.

A fantastic, caring doctor and one of the few vbac friendly in the area! She truly has an outstanding bedside manner and really cares about her patients! I got my vbac with Dr. Dulaney and couldn't be more grateful!You can't go wrong choosing this doctor!
