Dr. Beverly Ann Jarema, DO

My mom was a patient of Dr Jarema for many many years. Decades. My mom was a ding-bat. She played off things that were wrong with her. She lied to her doctors and they never caught her lies. And she lied to me. She had uterine cancer and ovarian cancer. (Who has periods in their 60's and 70's?) then it matastasized to a brain tumor. When it was brought to my attention from, (thank goodness) someone that told me there was something truly wrong with her, and this person told me details, it was then that I noticed weird things. This Hipaa law thing sucks sometimes but I went in the room with my mom with this Dr. and she failed her Dementia test. OK. Then my mom tried to lie about weird things. My mom was very angry with me for telling this Dr the weird things going on. And this Doctor was spot on for knowing to order a cat scan, etc. If only the doctor would have asked questions 15-20 years ago if she was "having periods". I'm sure my mom would have lied about it but this doctor does have… a way of asking questions. Geez, I have no one to blame because I know Dr's are busy with many patients and, my God, their own lives and I know their patients lie to them. I found bottles of blood pressure pills my mom never took that she was prescribed going through her house. Yet she told her Dr., "Oh yes! I take it every day!". Doctors can only rely on what they are told and I think Dr. Jarema did the best she could do and thank God she listened to me when she figured out my Mom had a brain tumor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Jarema's for many years and have always appreciated the fact that she is thorough and takes the time to fully take care of all my concerns so I don't complain if I wait a little longer past my appointment because she is doing the same for someone else. She is extremely kind and understanding.

I've been a patient for over 20 years. The last 5 years I have noticed a decline. Dr J is very kind and patient, I still feel this is true. But she asked me the same questions multiple times, forgot why I was there and just doesn't seem 100% anymore.

Dr. Jarema is extremely thorough and actually listens to what I have to say. She does not try pushing pills on me, and she gave me alot information along with exercises to try at home to relieve my pain. Great physician and wonderful staff.

Dr. Jarema is very nice, but I have to say how disappointed I am with office staff and her organization. I called on multiple occasions and spoke with her nurse, her and her front desk staff and later on they said they didn't have any record of what we talked about! Kind of important when it was a matter of medication dosages and lab appointments! I just wish they had taken better notes and were more on top of things. Also, be wary if you make an appointment of your time. It takes a long time to be seen. It was an hour after my appointment time before I was seen.

I cannot believe this woman is even practicing. If you would like a perscription for Tylenol then she is the one to go to. Unfortunately she is not proactive about anything and needs to be told what to do.. She is the nicest person you would ever want to meet but definitely not someone I would go to if I were really sick.

Overall one of the best doctors I have ever been to. She spends ample time with me and my family members and does not make me feel like I am just another number. She's not only extremely caring, she was also very knowledgeable about my condition. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend her as a physician for you and your entire family.
