I would highly recommend against coming here. The doctor (Beverly Johnson) did not listen to me and created a harmful narrative gaslighting me against believing in myself and my own experiences, let alone offering any help. She also treated me like an idiot and tried to blame me for my issues instead of listening to my plight. I left the office in tears and will forever have trust issues when it comes to seeing dermatologists due to this visit.

Horrible experience... Silver Spring office... Physician was condescending and arrogant. Much more concerned with getting me out than understanding the reason why I was there. Seemed as if she was not listening at all. I would not recommend her at all.

Ms. Johnson is one of the worst dr. I have encountered, I cannot believe she is a dr. I took my daughter to see Ms. Johnson because her hair was shedding. Ms. Johnson spent 30 seconds with us then proceeded to attempt to sell us her own branded shampoo and conditioner. My daughter has lost 8 inches of hair and Ms.Johnson claims the hair looks healthy. She asked 1 question then proceeded to cut me off when I attempted to give more detail. She grew angry when my husband intervene with more detail, said she would do a culture, then stormed out of the room and never returned. I don't trust that she will send the sample to be tested. This was my first and last experience with Johnson, but please be warned she is not an effective dermatologist. Her goal is promote her products and make money.
