Beverly J. Maser

My oldest daughter had kidney issues as a young child and at age 3 she had to have surgery. I decided at that time I would like to go into the medical field so that I could gain knowledge to help my family members and others in the community. My education has been a blessing to my family. I first started with Bayhealth as a new RN graduate and it’s exciting to bring my experience back to where I formed the foundation in my medical career. I enjoy helping others navigate through the complicated medical system.
Through my more than 20 years in the medical profession, helping others is what fulfills me most. I always think about how it would be to walk in the shoes of my patients. I believe it is just as important to have empathy for all patients as it is to have the proper knowledge when providing patient care. I particularly enjoy working with patients who live with HIV. I also see potential to reach out to both males and females to educate more people about PrEP (Pre-Exposure …Prophylaxis) so they know there are FDA-approved medications that can protect against HIV infection.
My family is my world. I have three grown children and six granddaughters. I enjoy summer days at the beach, walking on the boardwalk, or biking on the bike trail in Lewes. I love to bake during the holidays.
I will always advocate for my patients and go above and beyond for them to ensure they receive the care that all patients deserve. I’m deeply committed to educating you with the knowledge to make the best decisions for your health.
