Dr. Beverly Gail Wheeler, MD

Dr. Wheeler cared for my 75 yo husband.She was empathic, always available for my calls and set up meetings with me about my husband.She was someone you knew you could trust and very thorough. She spent time educating me about my husband's illness and answering my questions. She was the first psychiatrist since my husband's illness began who was gave him an accurate diagnosis. She treated him with respect, giving him the smallest amount of medication (compared to large amounts he had been on) and ran many tests to make sure nothing else was causing him symptoms. She was involved him in individual, group, spiritual and occupational counseling. With her support and guidance, my husband is finally back to who he was before his illness. May God Bless you, Dr. Wheeler, for your untiring work to help my husband and many others who can be treated and return to their families and normal lives. I did not think this was possible.
