Dr. Bhagya Rekha Arise, MD

I’m not sure how to begin this review in the most objective and non passionate manner, however I am still in shock over this doctor’s very rude, terrible bed side manner and unprofessionalism. Please save yourself from being treated by this subpar doctor who is a huge bully and will not only neglect you as a patient but also speak to your family members in a very condescending and heartbreaking tone. She does not consult. She does speak WITH you. She berates. She talks AT you with an aggressive tone. She does not take the time to speak with the patients about their history and what’s going on and she also does not like when family asks questions or requests other options and asks about alternative treatments because she will let you know she’s been practicing for a long time and she does what she knows and that is it. She does not see the need to explore beyond her preexisting knowledge or the scope of what she normally does Day to day basis as that’s all she “can do and needs to do as… a doctor”.

This doctor is will come into your room and talk AT you, not TO you. She does not ask any questions. Did not inquire into my past medical history. She is not willing to listen. She verbatim stated "I have done the minimum requirements". When I asked questions, she was so arrogant and combative. Very betlitting experience. I don't know why my asking questions made her act like that. She kept yelling at me that "I am not a medical student, I don't think about a bunch a differential diagnoses, I just don't know about those". I don't even know what that is supposed to mean honestly. She seems very medically incompetent. I mean it when I say this, please please please do no put your life in the hands of this women. Genuinely, you will not be safe.

Very short tempered and holds grudges

We had a BAD experience with Dr. Arise at the Medical Center of Plano. She was curt and unwilling to discuss treatments plans. Then she discharged my husband prematurely, forcing us to find another doctor on an emergency basis to provide the necessary care. This woman seemed arrogant, short tempered and either couldn't or wouldn't communicate with us. We never intent to return to either Dr. Arise or the Medical Center of Plano
