Dr. Bhakti D Khatri, MD

Dr. Khatri combines the best qualities I look for in a physician: she is expertly trained, conscientious, a skilled diagnostician, asks the right questions and listens carefully. She follows through and follows up. She is highly intelligent and has an excellent staff. I never received better care.

I had gone to her previously a couple of times and it had been okay. However, today I ripped my big toe nail off. I sent to her first since she was my general doctor and i trusted her. She was unable to help me because she said maybe i needed stitches and directed me to ER. I understand that. What it’s NOT okay, it’s the way she handled things. First, as she walks in the office is look at me and not very nicely asked me why I was on a wheel chair. Then, as I explained to her what happened, looks at my toe, and roughly tries to lift gauze. (If somebody tells you her entire nail is off, you should know how painful it is and you treat it carefully, not roughly). After that she dismissed me. This whole visit took no more than 4 min. What I thought was the worst and completely unethical is that she wanted to charge me for the visit. SERIOUSLY?? For 4 min and not even lifting the gauze??? When I’ve gone to our pediatrician and needed ER care, he told us to go straight out and no to… worry to check out. Now, that is ethical. That should be a doctors number one quality. Being ethical. Integrity.

Very compassionate professional

Dr. Khatri and her staff have given me their time and attention. They evidence as much interest as I have in my health. Their office runs on-time, and they allot sufficient time during the visit so that all my questions are answered. Clarifying questions are then asked of me. In between office visits they are available by phone.

Genuine, caring, detailed and effective - with a wonderful laugh,too ! What more can you ask for in a doctor.
