Dr. Bharat Sumanlal Jailwala, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Jailwala for over two years. He is very kind, professional and efficient. I have had my radiation treatments in his office and they are always on time, I have never had to wait. His staff is always professional and courteous. He has also seen me for immediate appointments when I was having difficulty after my brain surgery. I have also needed to speak with him on the phone, as well as my caregiver. He has never hesitated to treat me, or advise me or my caregiver. I would recommend him to anyone.

My grandmother is a patient, or I should say was. She has lung cancer and is in her 80's. She told Dr. Jailwala she didn't want to proceed with knowing if she had any cancer outside of the lung cancer as she wanted a conservative approach, quality over quantity. He scheduled a PET scan for her, which she didn't understand. I am a medical provider and told her of the reason for the test, which finds out other 'hot spots' of cancer. Again, she said she didn't want this. She called the office and instead of being understanding of people's wishes, Dr. Jailwala told her she needed to cancel it then herself and hung up on her. Very professional to hang up on an elderly lady.
