Dr. Bharathi Pulla, MD

Dr. Pulla has been my primary for many years. I insist on a woman doctor, so that was my first consideration in selecting her to interview. I knew right away we would get along, bc she is a very 'down to earth' person. She uses easy to understand language, and she always takes the time to answer my every question...even if it is a personal question about herself. I feel like she genuinely cares about my welfare, and she really knows her stuff!

I was a patient for the last 5 yrs. I will never go back. Last month I had a pinched nerve. My husband called for appt. and they got me right in. After waiting for twenty min. was finally seen. She checked my leg, asked a few questions, had me lie on table when she pulled my leg up so high it made me cry. I had just got done telling her how much it hurt and she did it anyway. Said if not better I would have to have MRI. Gave me prescriptions for meds the didn't work. Went to walk-in 2 weeks later because she was on vacation. NP there helped me better than she had. Called her office 2weeks later to get referral for mri and lite duty note for work and was told I would have to come in for appt. before I could get them. She wanted my money and whatever she can get out of my insurance. Terrible staff that cannot communicate whatsoever. Another time I was left in exam room forever and was only seen when they came around to check rooms due to the fact they were closing. All in all I think… there are MUCH better doctors in town and I WOULD NOT recommend her to anyone. And the office is dirty and old. Stay far away!!!!

Called to schedule an urgent appt. and was told that Dr Pulla was going on vacation so she couldn't help me. The soonest I could get an appt was over a month out. There was no nurse to talk to, no triage, no one ever even asked me what the problem was. I asked what I should do and was told there was no one covering for Dr Pulla and no one I could talk to. I was simply told "We can't help you"

Dr. Pulla, is an excellent doctor. I trust her completely. If you are looking for a doctor who always takes the time to give you a real exam, and a doctor who bothers to listen to you, she's the one. Her staff is always friendly. Frankly, I can't imagine anyone finding a problem with them.

The office staff is not friendly at all. The np or pa seems very harsh and does not make you feel comfortable or welcome at all.
