Dr. Bhavana Pothuri, MD

She's rude, heartless and doesn't care about the patients. She only wants to make things convient for herself and her staff. She asks you if you have questions but has soon as you ask her she abruptly cuts you off, changes the subject or quickly exits the room. Her staff will always inconvenience you with scheduling errors. I don't recommend this doctor, her staff or this hospital.

A new cancer diagnosis is a nightmare. But meeting Dr. Pothuri made it even worse. After an endless wait, half naked, alone & scared -- she was cold, terse, and impatient. Though highly recommended, I never wanted to see her again.

She is the best in her field no doubt.she treated my wife for a huge tumor and has recovered really well.she and her entire help staff were very caring transparent and understanding.

I am a patient of Dr. Pothuri’s and have had a wonderful experience (surgery for cancer) both with her and her team. Dr. Pothuri is warm, patient in answering questions, understanding about personal needs, and willing to explain complex things. Her team is also wonderful. They make complicated arrangements easy, they also are patient with questions and they all made surgery smooth and easy. Everybody was helpful and friendly. I strongly recommend Dr. Pothuri.

I can't recommend Dr. Pothuri highly enough. My obgyn referred me to her after a concerning MRI for uterine cancer risk. Dr. Pothuri took the time to carefully make and execute a game plan, communicated it with me clearly and listened to all my input throughout the process. Her entire hospital team was first class and the entire hospital experience/surgical procedure could not have gone more smoothly. I had full confidence in her expertise and would highly recommend her to anyone in need of a surgical oncologist.

No need to look any further if you are searching for a physician in gynecology/oncology. Dr. Pothuri is an excellent clinician and is wonderful to speak to. Dr. Pothuri performed my hysterectomy and I could not be more satisfied with my experience from start to finish. In addition, she has an amazing staff both in the office and in the hospital. A team of compassionate and knowledgeable professionals lead by an amazing doctor.

I recently had breast cancer and during the cancer body scan, a cyst was found on my ovary. Three months later, while monitoring the cyst, there was a noticeable change. It was at this time that I was advised to have my ovaries and tubes taken out and tested for ovarian cancer. I contacted my breast cancer doctors as I had no idea who to choose. They recommended Dr. Pothuri to me . I only met her once prior to the surgery, but during that meeting, she made me feel so comfortable and secure in her expertise, that I had no concerns about having her do the surgery. She was very thorough in her explanation of the process and possible outcomes. Her staff was also very helpful and nice. The outcome ended up good, and I must say I am healing very quickly. I would highly recommend Dr. Pothuri. A great doctor to have for a second surgery on top of just having had breast cancer surgery!!
