Dr. Dave put my mind at ease and made me feel very comfortable. He listened to my story, he explained all the ins and outs and told me there was no need to worry. I have already highly recommended him and I will continue to.

Listened to problem and provided explanation of course of treatment and expectations.

fleitz3603@Never takes anytime with you. He does not want to know your medical issues. Puts you off on PA. Caused me a painful issues after procedure .

I had a procedure done 1 1/2 yrs ago, they had me set up for a follow up a week later. The day before they called and cancled, rescheduled for a month later, the day before they canceld, rescheduled for 2 months later they canceled, I went to reschedule and the scheduler was off, so I left her my information as instructed, never called back, I called again, she was on the other line, I left my number...never called back!

I don't recommend this practice mainly because of his nurse and support staff. They are very rude and unprofessional. No one answers phones. Numerous times I was put on hold over 15 minutes and then hung up on. I then thought it would be easier to go in person to schedule appointments and it wasn't. You'll stand there waiting to be helped while 3 or 4 of them sit in the office and stare at you. Appointments were difficult because they'd give me appointments on weekends and holidays and I'd have to call and try to get them changed to dates that they are actually open. Medicine refills are almost impossible. Dr. Dave is nice but he spends the whole visit staring at his tablet and very rarely makes eye contact and leaves very quickly so if you have any questions, you better ask quickly before he disappears with little warning. The worst part was the clinic in the Blue Hen Mall he uses for procedures. I went for a colonoscopy and out of nowhere the anesthesiologist whom I've never met… before tells me my health won't improve unless I accept Jesus in my life. First of all that's very unprofessional to discuss no matter what my beliefs are and two he knew nothing about what I believe and my health problems other than getting a colonoscopy to rule out certain conditions. I recently switched doctors and like Dr. Kottam in Milford. Of course getting my records transfered was a nightmare.

I take no pride in writing this review but feel compelled to inform others. Ill use the bullet format as to save space and time and for ease of reading. - Megan, very rude, abrupt, short responses seems like shes just there for the money. Megan, if you are not happy do yourself and the patients a favor and get another job. - Donese (not sure spelled correct) she's polite if polite to, seems like she does not want to be there either. Does not seem to be proactive and takes a long time to return calls for prescriptions. . - Gabrielle, was rude at first but after treating her with kindness she woke up and speaks to me politely. You can tell within the first 2 seconds of speaking to her what kind of mood she is in. - Blue Hen Surgery Center, the center dr. Dave uses for procedures, went there once and will never go again! its the old Mall for Dover! Not very up to date inside. - Dr. Dave, last but not least, I got his number!!! everything he does he wants you back, why? so he can… continue to charge the insurance company!!! Hes not fooling anyone! Hes quick to send you for test after test for "just to make sure" reasons! Dr. we are not stupid, we know what youre doing Sir!!! If you have an appointment in the afternoon, he's yawning, not looking at you just typing away on the computer and once he's done typing he gets up and the appointment is over, you can't stop him! Another thing I experienced is he wont give you refills on your scripts, why? Because you have to come back for a office visit so he can charge the Insurance again!!!! Im looking for a new Gastro Dr. I would love to have put my name because I'd like them to know how I feel but due to the fact they have all your personal info like SSN people can do bad things so its safer to not put my name. I hope this helps but I always suggest you try and find out for yourself but Im confident you'll feel and experience the same.

I was so excited to finally get in to see a gi specialist that supposedly specialized in ibs! I have dealt with ibs for over a decade and was looking for a solution. I knew I was for a long wait when I saw a tv and 3 large comfy couches. I waited in the waiting room for 1 hour, once back in the waiting room, his student doctor sat with me and discussed symptoms, tests, and treatments. When the dr came in he told me to take a fiber supplement and get a colonoscopy. Not my idea of fun, but ok to help my ibs I would do anything. Except that this dr swore I was constipated and that the fiber would fix it. I am not having that symptoms. When I tried to correct the misunderstanding re: my symptoms, he walked out, I was mid sentence! I continued to voice my concern and angst to the student dr, her reply was thatshewas sorry.

This is the only doctor in the line of many that took the time to listen!!!

I have been a patient of Dr.Dave for 4 years Dr.Dave is a very good GI doctor he will cover all bases with test and following up wtih you. His office staff is very helpful and friendly.Which has improved over the 4 years I have been with him. He called me at home to check on me and worked hard on getting a denial approved.For that I thank him for. You can't ask for a better doctor.
