Dr. Bhavin V Mehta, MD

I have just terminated my relationship with Dr. Mehta due to a variety of reasons. I am a type II diabetic who does not wish to do Insulin - a fact known from the beginning. About a year ago Dr. Mehta started pressuring me to go on insulin. His reports became inaccurate and his general demeanor became abusive. He considered any wound to be a "diabetic abscess" and said so. I drew the line when he suddenly referred me to a wound specialist over a puncture wound that up until that point had been "healing nicely". The specialist looked at the "wound" and asked "What are you doing here?". Since I have one leg an inch shorter that the other, I will always have foot abrasions and wounds - usually on my right foot. I have no intention of dealing with this type of unprofessional nonsense when there is a variety of competent medical care available.
