I'm saddened that Northeast Pediatrics will no longer be treating children who aren't vaccinated. I realize this is a hot topic right now, but I really thought NEP was above jumping on the bandwagon. I've recommended your practice to people in the past, but now I have to tell many people to find another doctor to take their children to, because you're ostracizing those who choose not to vaccinate for religious/personal reasons. It's your practice, and you can do whatever you please, but, like I said, I'm deeply saddened that you're going down this road. Not to mention they told me our daughter likely had a milk protein allergy when they found blood in her stool (possible reflux). It wasn't a milk protein allergy; she was simply being overfed. Eliminating all dairy from your diet when breastfeeding, and then trying to reintroduce dairy into your diet wreaks havoc on both systems!

Our family loves Dr Bhumi and her staff. They take their time and answer all my questions. I leave feeling well prepaired and confident to take care of my sick child.The office is very accomdating and helpful when you need to get in right away. We have been with the Dr Bhumi for 3 years and plan on being with her for many more.

The doctor and staff are exceptional. I love that fact that Dr. Bhumi looks at the whole child. She listens to the parents and then makes a clinical(if necessary) diagnosis. She informs you of things, answers questions without realizing that question will even come up. It does and you can say, oh Dr. Bhumi did say this would happen. She is sharp but caring too. She is awesome!!

I have been coming to Dr Bhumi's office for over 3 yrs now and we just love her and her staff. They make you feel like family and all the girls are are so pleasant and make the kids feel so welcome. My son never wants to leave the office after his visit. I would highly recommend Dr Bhumi to anyone who is wanting a change...for the better!!

I have been bringing my daughter to Dr. Bhumi since she was born after a strong referral from a friend. We have been so pleased with the service we have received. The staff is genuinely caring and very knowledgable. Dr. Bhumi is so pleasant and friendly. Our daughter had appendicitis at seven months old which is unheard of in a child so young, but Dr. Bhumi called it right away and got us to the ER immediately. If it hadn't been for her knowledge and excellent medical care we may have lost her. We will be eternally grateful to her and her wonderful staff. The staff always makes you feel welcome and the atmosphere is friendly and personal. We will be relocating in the near future and are heartbroken to have to find a new doctor for our daughter. We have even considered driving an hour and a half for her well visits! But we will forever highly recommend this office as a knowledgable, comfortable, personable pediatrician for everyone.

Dr.Bhumi is open to parents' level of comfort with being conservative or aggressive with treatment options. We love her and her staff.

Dr. Bhumi came recommended to me by a friend. She is friendly but I found her lacking in nutrition knowledge for newborn/infant. Also, she is not knowledgable and sometimes outright unsupportive of breastfeeding. As a new mom, it was especially important to feel heard and validated; I feel like she is dismissive of what the parents say and therefore her advice is sometimes off the mark because it is based on her assumptions - not what is actually happening with the baby. We have decided to switch doctors after using her services for four months. Hope this helps someone on the fence about who to choose.
