Dr. Bhuvana Sagar, MD

Dr Sagar has been fantastic thru my colon cancer after treatment. She cares and spends time with me when needing to talk or asks questions

Dr. Sargar is excellent and amazing oncologist who is care about my health, I truly highly recommend to everyone who needs help, I can't thank you enough.

You know what Dr. Sagar really was an excellent dr. Yes she was not very personal. Yes she had a different no nonsense approach. But you know what she did what was best for her patients and did not sugar coat anything and would not be bought off by chemo drug companies pushing their drugs to be used. She wanted the best drugs and the ones that worked and wouldn't waste time with companies trying to talk people into using their stuff unless it was best for her patients. I can honestly say people really lost a great oncologist losing her. And I will even go as far to say I don't think she cared much for me personally but I would love to be able to get a hold of her and see her for my daughter if she was still working and in network. One of the worst things most oncologist do is to sugar coat things, not be honest and upfront with their chances. She might have seemed cold to many but I wouldn't have traded her for anyone while my husband went through chemo and he went through testicular… and believe you me it was not an easy regiment. I also realize many people when they first hear cancer they don't hear even half the stuff the doctor is telling them. We made sure that not only I was there but my husband's mother too so we had plenty of ears trying to retain all the information that was given in the first appointment. I say all of this and I am pretty sure she didn't care for me much but she was the one to have in your corner or in the corner of your most precious love one. Didn't see her at the above location saw her at Texas Oncology off of 1960 trust me same great dr.

I will not recommend this physician to anyone. Most cancer patients when initially diagnosed have many questions and need answers. Dr. Sagar does not like either questions or answers. She certainly is in the wrong profession.

We have heard that Dr. Sagar is now retired. She was not very helpful and she obviously did not enjoy working with cancer patients. I only hope that someday when she is sick that some physician is nicer to her than she was to my family member. Actually, she is very unkind.

- She suggested 6 chemo-therapies when they should of recommended 8 - She did not suggest a dietitian- Nausea drug recommendations were bad- Always in a hurry- Too busy to talk schedules over the phone- Bad manners

Dr. Sagar is extremely loud, arrogant and doesn't like questions. She doesn't seem to know what type of treatment options are available or relevant.

Dr. Sagar is thorough and maybe not the best besided doctor but she does care and wants the best for her patients. I was referred to her by my primary care doctor and Dr. Sagar has been great in all respects since I started seeing her.

I was a breast cancer patient of this physician. She is not able to help you unless she is able to give you chemotherapy. I told her about the pain I was having due to the fact that my cancer had spread to my bones. She could have cared less. She refused to listen and was very rude. I switched my care to another physician who has been so much better. You do not want to see this physician.

Dr. Sagar is extremely rude and not interested in her patients. I was referred to her after my diagnosis of breast cancer. I tried to ask her questions during the initial meeting and she interrupted me and stated I will tell you what you need to know. She is also very loud. I felt like the whole office could her what was going on in the exam room. I would not recommend her to any patient especially a breast cancer patient.
