Doctor has a lack of understanding common sense of if you messed up and made an order for shot on a holiday when Kaiser’s closed, then it it the doctor’s fault rather than blaming it on the patient.

On two separate occasions I was fairly disappointed with Dr. Nguyen. On the first, she checked me for allergies, found that I had a few, and then pushed me to return for allergy shots that I really didn't need. The really frustrating case was my young daughter's cough, which has been going on nearly a year. After seeing a Kaiser primary care doc we were referred to Dr. Nguyen. My daughter very clearly has wheezing and constricted bronchiols, and needs treatment. After the visit, Dr. Nguyen had no treatment and nothing to recommend. Having not been at the meeting I called later to discuss my daughter's case, and on the phone she behaved like she was offended for having to talk to me. When I told her my daughter had been coughing for six months and needs albuterol, she told me I was wrong and suggested that I didn't know what I was talking about. Bad doc. Two strikes and you are out. Save yourself mistreatment and see someone else.
