Bilal Bangash, MD, cares for patients dealing with complications of the pulmonary system. As a pulmonary and critical care physician, he is able to make a significant impact on a patient’s life by diagnosing and managing serious respiratory conditions. Dr. Bangash graduated from medical school in Pakistan and completed his residency in Ireland. He then moved to the U.S. where he completed an additional internal medicine residency followed by an advanced fellowship in pulmonary and critical care. Dr. Bangash has a genuine passion for creating a positive and long-lasting impact on the lives of others. He takes pride in his ability to alleviate the suffering and improve health outcomes of individuals locally. This allows him to shape a healthier community, one patient at a time. Dr. Bangash believes that demonstrating empathy and compassion are both essential when it comes to patient care. He always strives to provide effective communication to ensure patients fully understand …their conditions and care plan. What Dr. Bangash finds most fulfilling in his work is being able to diagnose and treat illness that ultimately will improve the health and wellbeing of our community members. His clinical interests include treating chronic lung disease such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma. He also takes great interest in early detection, diagnosis and management of lung cancer. When Dr. Bangash is not caring for his patients, he enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, and playing soccer. He also loves to explore the outdoors and travel with his family.
