Dr. Billy P Huang, MD

When I had MRSA with sepsis this spring, Dr. Huang and his team saved my life. Literally. I had about a 50% chance of making it. Fortunately nobody told me this, only my poor parents and my husband had to deal with it. Dr. Huang was always upbeat and cheerful, and I really feel that his bedside manner and attitude, as well as his medical expertise helped me to survive. After I had been at Sacred Heart for a few weeks, and was on Vancomycin but still having fevers and chills, it was Dr. Huang who figured out that I shouldn't go to St Luke's just yet, and he stood up for me when they social worker started pushing. Good thing too because it turned out that I still had a pocket of mersa in my knee. If you are ever in a life-or-death situation, you will be lucky to get Billy Huang as your doctor!
