Dr. Billy Ray Smith, MD

Dr Smith's office staff always make me feel valued and important. They go out of their way to help each and every patient. Dr Smith takes time to listen to the needs of his patients with complete regard to every detail. I would like to also thank one young lady up front for the excellent care I received during my last visit to your office. Together you make one heck of a team.

I have been going here for over 8 years. The staff is courteous and helpful. Dr Billy Smith it's one of my favorite doctors. I actually have extreme anxiety with doctors and therefore miss a lot of my other appointments. But this office has made me comfortable since the day that I arrived. If a pain management doctor is needed I highly recommend this office! They are 100% dedicated to helping their patients. I have never felt belittled or mistreated in any way by the doctors nor nurses and assistants. I personally want to thank them all for everything that they do. I so appreciate their dedication to trying to help me maintain a normal life. Usually my appointments go quickly with the exception of a couple of times and that usually during the holidays. The reason for that it's because they are trying to get all their patients in so that the patients as well as themselves can spend the holidays with their families. Now don't get me wrong they will not tolerate misuse of medications or… mistreatment to any of the staff. Nor should they. Dr Billy Smith is by far my favorite doctor and I just adore Mary Shaw Mosley. It never fails they always make me laugh and smile. When you are dealing with pain on a constant basis sometimes that is hard to do because it has an effect on your overall well being. So it's nice having a doctor that tries to make you feel as comfortable as possible while you were there. Almost like family. I just want to say to the staff thank you for everything that you do. You always go above and beyond.

This is one office that cares about a patients needs. Dr Smith has been my doctor now for some time and he is the best. He always listens with an eagerness to understand my pain and not over prescribe, however making sure I have enough of what I need! They are professional, not much wait time after arriving, but allowing enough time to talk with me. His bedside manner is awesome ~ I actually look forward to each of my visits. I can share personal information with him and he never judges me, he just listens and that goes for the staff too. They greet me with a smile and treat me like I am important and not just a number. I recommend his office to everyone that needs help with their Pain Management.

I am michael. I was denied because I was a past patient when he was in Washington. I had no problem at all. And I can't help that my doctor sent me to a certain pain clinic that they don't like. I follow the rules and shouldn't be descrimated because of it.

He really cares about what he does and works hard

I do not recommend this office for one reason, his assistant. I have over heard her before while on the phone talking to patients. I said to myself, I hope I don't get on her bad side. Well it happened to me recently. I have been going there more than 3 years, but will not return after that incident. She belittles you and scolds you like a child. In my case, she should have done her homework first before speaking with me.

I saw Dr Smith about 2 weeks ago for the first time. I was impressed with his care and concern for my case and his attention to detail on the examination. I have found him and his nurse, Mary, to be both professional and accessable. I would recommend Dr. Smith to anybody in need of care for a Chronic Pain condition!!
