I drove 2 1/2 hours to Fort Wayne for a psych evaluation. I’m trying to join the Marine corps and needed to be cleared of depression and anxiety. When I was 16, I got caught drinking by my mom. When I was going through withdrawals, they diagnosed me with depression. I am currently disqualified from joining because I need a psych evaluation. Dr.Devkota was awful. I couldn’t understand her at all, her accent was way too thick and since she was rushing the appointment, she spoke really really fast. Turns out she couldn’t do what I was there for because I hadn’t seen my previous doctor for 2 years (Tracy Manns). I asked her a couple of questions and tried asking her if we could just do a regular psych evaluation, she continued by opening the door and walking me out. After driving two and half hours back to my home, I was defeated. I feel like she shouldn’t be a doctor if she can’t handle a couple of questions, I feel like she shouldn’t be there if she doesn’t want to truly help people. I’m… just one person, I realize, but if I was a CEO or a chairman, I wouldn’t want that in my office. Especially knowing she just costed the organization a little bit of their reputation, because I will be posting this on every public review area I can find of hers and bowens, I’d be upset as her boss. Anyone can look at my records and realize what was happening, she couldn’t and didn’t even care to look at what happened. It took her 5 minutes, it took me 5 hours. I will be going somewhere else after this. Bowen is not a good place for me, they should’ve seen what was happening when I was a child. Instead, they wanted more money causing me to come back multiple times even when I told them I was fine, they wouldn’t believe me. So now I have to live with this medical record when none of it is true. One big money laundering facility.

My disabled son who takes antipsychotics has continuously had his meds not submitted & ordered after his appointments by NP Bimala Devakota. Last month he got rebound psychosis from not having his meds and the delay by the continued negligence. Again, another appointment on the 7th of November, still waiting 14days later! Completely out of medications. This is the 5th time. I requested a new provider, have not heard. Asked to speak with a supervisor and Leslie said yesterday this would be taking care of. Here we are and its the end of the day. This is not safe nor ethical, please pay attention to what your doing! This complete recklessness.
