Dr. Bina Kanaiya Parekh, DO

I came into the immediate care with a panic attack. She gave me basic tips on how to alleviate the panic attacks. She basically blew me off when I was shaking and crying. I came to the immediate care and I ended up going to the Emergency Room because I trust nothing she said to me. I am very angry and she was just a road bump in the worst day of my life.

I went to Dr. Parekh in the immediate care clinic after having fainted earlier in the day. I had been feeling light headed for a few weeks before I fainted. She is not my regular doctor, but when she came in to examine me, she had clearly read my medical file. She listened to me, spent time examining me and pointed out that one of the drugs I was recently prescribed by my regular doctor has the side effect of often causing dizziness and low blood pressure, both of which I have in my medical history. She suggested I stop taking the non-vital drug and see my regular doctor again. In the week since I stopped that medication my lightheadedness has significantly improved. For a doctor who didn't know me, especially in an immediate care clinic, I thought she was amazingly good. Knowledgeable, caring, and spot on in her diagnosis.

Misdiagnosis - likes to say "its a virus" - not helpful at all. If I ever go back to this location, I am calling first and if she is the doctor on-duty, for sure I am going somewhere else!! After a visit with her, I went to another doctor the same day who diagnosed the problem correctly and I received the proper treatment. The staff is very nice, the office is clean etc., just a terrible doctor experience (and this wasn't the first time with this "medical professional").

Did not read chart before coming in the room; did not listen-talked; disrespectful in tone and manner; dismissive and arrogant; not interested in history; walked out of room with no comment--after 10 minutes went to look for her-chatting at the desk.
