Dr. Binh Kien Lieu, MD

Dr. Lieu displayed unprofessional behavior by being rude and condescending. We were seeking additional information about a surgery that the hospital failed to provide, which has now been delayed for an additional 24 hours despite being initially told it was urgent. We inquired about our X-rays and CT scans, and his response was dismissive, stating, "well are you a medical professional where that would have any significance for you" This caused us concern as we were not fully informed about our own injuries and what the next steps are and he was withholding that info because we are patients and not working in the medical field. We are anxious and uncertain about the situation at hand because of the lack of information and communication. He displayed extreme sarcasm and irritation upon our call for further details, despite being the doctor who had previously spoken to us that morning. Furthermore, the nurse later stated that he had mistakenly identified us as another patient, despite… initially confirming his knowledge of our situation and who we were.

Absolutely ignorant and rude to the patient, in a rush, did not care at all, even when the patient asks to be more involved and talk nicely, do not recommend to go to him.

He knew what to do. He was direct and have a sense of humor.

Unprofessional approach, seems to be in a hurry, fails to thoroughly assess situation before making a decision.

Have several times tried to write a review of Dr. Lieu. Because you have to mark at least 1 star, I reluctantly did so, to enter my 1 Star Review. Every time, it is rejected with a message that profanity is not allowed in reviews. There was no profanity. Simply a 1 Star review of this doctor as arrogant, inattentive, and rude to staff. Why are 1-Star reviews rejected? This skews readers to assume Dr. Lieu is a doctor who provides 5-Star Medical Care. He does not.
