Dr. Binh Lieu, MD

I recently had my first Teladoc phone appointment with Dr. Lieu, and unfortunately, it was an extremely disappointing experience. From the outset, Dr. Lieu displayed a dismissive attitude and lacked both compassion and empathy. He consistently interrupted me, making it difficult to explain my concerns. The visit felt rushed, lasting a mere 4 minutes and 23 seconds, which gave me the impression that my concerns were not taken seriously. This lack of attentiveness and respect left me feeling unheard and undervalued as a patient. Overall, I would not recommend Dr. Lieu based on my experience. A provider's role is not only to diagnose but to listen and provide care with empathy—qualities that were entirely absent during my visit.

He practice as he preach “Strives to fulfill the diverse health care needs of his patients through compassion and communication” He very attentive to patients, takes his time talking to me. Actually, my whole family have been seen for years. Very caring with utmost concern for his patients. Listen well and very sensitive to patient’s needs. Will definitely recommend to others because is the great doctor.

I wrote that glowing review for dr Lieu in 2008. I had to change health plans when every time I needed an appointment, he was NEVER there, NEVER available. Well I just tried him again and he walks into the room, never even looking up at me or my wife and mutters, "so what do I need to do for you today:....he was RUDE, ARROGANT, and just plainly a JERK. Since I have now had SIX spine fusions, have Poly Neuropathy and Lyme Disease we walked out and I went back to my GOOD doctor elsewhere. I wanted to see, hoped to see my old Dr Lieu and since he moved to just across the street from us it would have been SO convenient. But this was like entering the Twilight Zone and I can't imagine ANYONE wanting to have this rude JERK as their doctor. Please, do yourself a favor and pay attention to all these ONE star reviews! This man is NOT any doctor you need.....

My experience with my visits to Dr. Lieu have been absolutely awesome. He takes the time to ask and answer questions, follows up by phone to see how I'm doing, and once he personally called to see if I wanted to come in earlier than my appointment because he had an open time slot. Just Wonderful!

After my family Doctor retired after being my Doctor for over 40 years, it has been a life saver finding this man! I went through 4 Doctors I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy before finding Dr Lieu. He has helped to diagnose MAJOR problems I had that no one else could that led to 2 neurosurgery's this past year that have allowed me keep partial use of my arms & legs. Otherwise, I would have been in serious trouble. I wouldn't trade him for the world!
